Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Clinton County

I needed a place to reset, reboot, and revisit my favorite trails. This was tucked in off the road to give privacy and peace I was looking for. The floor to ceiling windows afforded an amazing view of the stars at night while laying on the very comfy couch. There are alot of games available for various ages. The skeeball game was so much fun. I was unable to use the fire pit due to rain but it was cozy and again afforded a great view of the sky at night. I loved the gym equipment upstairs. The TV was easy to navigate and had a lot of apps. The scenery was tranquil and beautiful. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of cooking along with the grill outside. This was well worth it. I loved the little journal she had for all the guests to fill out. It was so clean and no signs of any rodent or insect visitors noted inside. Inae responded promptly and was very welcoming. This was the best vacation I have had in a long time, basically because of this special nugget of a cabin.

This farmhouse has been beautifully renovated for modern needs. Great laundry room and kitchen. The place was neat and clean. Deborah was responsive and communicative. It was the perfect spot for a visit to local family and more afforable/closer than the chain hotels in Lamar for our family. A few pointers - parking is on Auction Rd. The bedrooms are in the front of the house close to the main road so be sure to pack appropriately if you are a light sleeper. More horse and buggies than cars drive by, but there is some road noise in the bedrooms from time to time. There are also not stores/gas/restaurants nearby so stop on your way if you need something. Incredibly awesome place! A must-- stay! My wife and I just got back from being here for our 25th anniversary. no unpleasant surprises when arriving here. Everything absolutely accurate based on the photos and all descriptions. A beautifully designed cabin, spacious, outdoor hot tub and fire pit, wrap around porch, lots of land to explore in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains by the Susquehanna river. Even saw a large group of elk as we were pulling up! Secluded, peaceful, and an all-around quality property. All instructions were clear, simple, and fair. Several items are labeled for convenience, everything easy to use and operate. Also, Paul was a perfect host - very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and great customer service every time I contacted him. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for mine and my wife's special occasion. Great experience for a fair price, worth every dollar! Thanks again Paul.

Stayed at Silver lab lodge with my family and in-laws for the Hyner race. Home has a welcoming atmosphere, great layout for a family gatherings. Nicely updated throughout. The large kitchen table was ground zero for our nightly board game battles! Location is ideal with general store and restaurant near by which is a luxury that deep in the mountains. The host is fantastic, communicates clearly and values your stay. Very appreciative we were able to stay race weekend.

This was our third year staying we love the place The scenery is great and the fishing is even better. The camp is very clean and well maintained.

Very peaceful location, so close to hiking and class A trout streams. The cabin was exactly as described, very clean, only thing you need to bring is food and drink. Will definitely try to book again.

We stayed at the guesthouse for a wrestling tournament at the Bryce Jordan Center. This is worth the drive from state college to save a lot of money! I would stay here again. Rachel was very kind, responsive, helpful. Great host!

This place is absolutely amazing, beautiful, peaceful. We didn’t have to travel far to find the absolutely majestic elk. The hosts were so very gracious. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it !!!
