The only way to reach the secluded cabin is by taking the mountain hiking trail and back or request to be driven to the cabin via 4-wheeler($10 additional cost for drive in and drive out) . The trail is 800ft consistent of the opulent and incredibly diverse flora and fauna,providing a rewarding adventure. The WILDERNESS cabin is setting in the forest among the trees overlooking the Smoky Mountain range in high altitude.

Bring your boat and launch at Walter’s Bridge boat dock located less than a mile away and tie up at our private boat dock, or use our kayaks, just fish and float the day away in the lake, followed by an amazing sunset. Please be aware that Douglas Lake is a TVA lake which means lake levels fluctuate throughout the year.
