Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

This 4-foot-wide Western Red Cedar passes directly through the middle of the Treehouse without a single bolt driven into it. Enjoy this beautiful setting situated between the charming city of Bellingham and the world class Mt. Baker Ski Area. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

Note: the property features a significant (about 60) stair steps to climb. As a result, it may be more challenging to enjoy for those experiencing ambulatory limitations.
