Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Cow Lane Cottage

This delightful end stone cottage sits on the outskirts of the picturesque Cheshire town of Bollington, with stunning views from the rear up to the landmark 'White Nancy' and rolling valleys at the front. The cottage is named for the cows that live in the surrounding fields who will often pop their heads over the garden wall to have a munch on the foliage. The cottage also benefits from being close to restaurants, shops,  pubs, and the Macclesfield canal that winds it way through the village.

Rock End Retreat is a spacious self contained bungalow with parking for two cars. It has easy access and is set in a peaceful and private setting on a working family dairy farm. The retreat is modern with plush bedrooms and comfy sofas with newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom. The outside area is securely fenced so that pooches can explore safely. Our Couples' Hideaway is in a very private location accessed by electric gates, with a hot tub and summerhouse that are never overlooked. It has a large, dog secure deck set in mature trees. Although in the grounds of a larger holiday park we are completely unconnected with them and clean and manage this pristine lodge ourselves, getting rave reviews pretty much 100% of the time. The lodge is nestled in an area renowned for walking and cycling and is on the edge of the Peak District.

Middle Barn, Rushton Spencer

Middle Barn is a recently converted barn which has many original features as well as modern comforts including underfloor heating downstairs, excellent WiFi, and finished to a high standard. Part of the ‘Cliffe Park Farm Stays’ and situated on a working farm which has 3/4 of a mile of frontage to Rudyard Lake as well as having the Staffordshire Way footpath running through the farm, makes this a great base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
