It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

The Old Bank in Mansons Landing

The Old Bank is five min walk from the lake a couple doors down from the co-op amd market. This large space has 1 king private room with 5 queens and three singles upstairs in the large loft space. There is two full bathrooms and a beautiful soaker tub in the main. Large kitchen with industrial appliances including a ice machine. Very large property surrounded by forest. Wood burning hot tub and a cedar sauna. Five min walking distance to lake. Everything you need for your vacation.

The cabin offers a queen-sized bed with fresh linens, a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, mini-fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, and coffees and teas, plus a newly renovated bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Just minutes from Mansons Landing’s co-op, café, and market, and near trails, beaches, and lagoons, it’s the perfect base for comfort and adventure.

Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
