The location is AMAZING! Love the history of the space.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Beautiful apartment in casita de pueblo renovated with pleasure. The photos reflect the way the floor is. Ideal for a couple. Very well located, close to everything. We had a small problem when we checked out and Jose Pedro took care of us very quickly and very kindly. Highly recommended to spend a few days in Évora.

Patrícia was always very responsive even with a friendly, friendly and cordial reservation. Apartment has a great location, with vast parking. Clean tidy and welcoming.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay. The house very special. Susana met us at check in. She was very warm and welcoming and showed us around. The space is huge! The outdoor spaces are filled with sunshine, beautiful nooks to sit and relax, an outdoor shower, comfortable patio furniture, and the inside is nice and cool and clean. She decorated it in such a beautiful way. She has thought of every detail. We wish we could have moved in. It’s right in town, so we could head out and go to the shops, and then walk back and be in the comfort of home within minutes. Thank you for a very memorable and absolutely magical stay!

The house is Wonderful, located in the center of town, and stands out for its cleanliness, and for having all the necessary accessories. The beds are very comfortable. When we return to the area, we will love to occupy this beautiful house again.

Monte do Telheiro is a wonderful property in one of the most beautiful parts of Alentejo. It is surrounded by rolling green hills and overlooks the pleasant village of Escoural (less then a ten minute walk away). We enjoyed the house for a week over Christmas and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, the big dining room table and the cozy living room with its huge, well-working fireplace. Though the weather was sunny for the whole week with warm sunshine at midday, it was very pleasant to have heating in the house for the cold evenings and nights (not a given in Portugal!). Lawrence is a great host, proactive, and providing very precise information. The caretakers living on the property (in a separate house) are a lovely couple, very discreet and reliable. They even brought us a delicious, home-made cake on Christmas Eve! There is a lot to explore. We visited Evora, Montemor, Estremoz, and Monsaraz Castle. We plan to be back for a summer visit to make use of the fantastic pool.

We were very well received in this beautiful house at the heart of the Alentejo. Spacious, cozy and extra comfortable. also very welcoming, were the hosts, always helpful, friendly, making us feel at home. They even offered to pick us up at 7 a.m. in Évora. I recommend! We absolutely loved this home. The location could not be more perfect - everything you need is within a short walk. Also the interior of the home has clearly been redone to a very high standard. Everything inside is beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal though we didn't bother during our stay as there are so many amazing restaurants. The sofas, bed, linens, etc were so comfortable and cozy. Note that there is a large municipal parking lot a short walk away. It's very easy to pull up to the house to unload all of your luggage and simply move the car to this public lot. We stayed for only 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed longer if we had the time. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality.

I loved it and I'll definitely be back! I was just sorry I couldn't stay longer. Wonderful and super quiet space for nature lovers, super relaxing, great to rest without city noise or movement! Close to another super quiet village. D. Célia, with whom we checked in, was super nice, made us completely comfortable and the same with D.Silvia, very helpful, always ready to help, super nice and friendly, 5⭐️!!! Not to mention Mr. Ruca, who came to visit us from time to time and keep us company, always happy and content, the little dog of the herd 🐶 and the kittens too 😍 I loved it! And I can't wait to go back 😁
