accommodation rented for a few nights. peaceful and green place. very cozy cottage. we spent a few very pleasant days for family holidays. everything was thought for a pleasant stay. isabelle even had the fence checked to make sure that one of our runaway dogs does not find an opportunity to escape. isabelle is extremely pleasant and available. I highly recommend.

This place is highly recommended! This cottage is absolutely adorable, it sits beside Dominique and Alain's house on a cute little pond. There are cats and geese and ducks wandering around, but they didn't make any noise at all! Inside, the cottage is so clever in the layout, with everything you need, from kitchen supplies (vinegar, oil, salt, sugar) to blankets and thick towels. The bed was very comfortable and the Vellux blinds kept it very dark upstairs. Alain gave me tips on hiking (I did the Ballade des Katts walk to the monastery directly from the path beside the property). The local beer in the fridge was a very nice touch and the WiFi worked perfectly, which was good because the cell reception was patchy. The landscape is beautiful and the WWI sights are poignant and well signposted. Don't miss the daily 8 pm commemoration for the fallen in Ypres at the Menon Gate. When the bagpipes played Amazing Grace, there were tears...

France and Rémi are very considerate, welcoming and warm hosts. We had an unforgettable time in their joyfully colorful trailer. Everything was perfect... The environment was peaceful and quiet, the garden designed by France, a real little paradise. We'll be happy to go back 😃

Very nice welcome from Fabienne who was flexible when we arrived late. Impeccable and pleasant house, picturesque setting with on one side a beautiful garden and on the other the farm and its animals. All close to all amenities and close to tourist places!

What to say when everything is perfect! Richard welcomed me and my children with a smile and gave us a small welcome aperitif (water syrup for children ) as well as fresh eggs from the chicken coop In the evening on proposal he prepared for us with his children a great homemade burger meal (fresh bakery bread) butcher's steak with fresh fries and vegetables , served in the cottage like roosters on paws! (For a very decent rate) in the morning the children were able to feed the chickens and play in the garden ( swing, discovery of the small river) In short our stay was short (1 night) but we were really welcomed very well and if we come back to the area we will be happy to stop in this pretty corner of greenery:)

We absolutely loved this place and plan to stay again. It is super peaceful and away from the hustle bustle, but at the same time VERY accessible to Canterbury, Folkestone, and Deal - we went to each place and it is a 15-20 min drive max to each from the Airbnb. When you walk in, the place is exactly as pictured— very clean! It was a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time with our friends, a place that really lends to that! it was great!!A quick tip: prioritize the barbecue over the stovetop!

Fantastic stay – absolutely recommended! We had a great stay with the children and grandchildren, and can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt welcome. The host/hostess were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was taken care of to the last detail! Plus the dogs were an added value for us, such a sweetheart and especially with our little dog we had with us. How nice this was! Really repeatable for us! The sheppards hut is simply stunning. We have stayed in quite a few over the years, but this one just raised the bar in every aspect. The interior, with furnishings and amenitites was everything you could wish for, with a level of luxury not usually found in other huts. The exterior too was immaculate, plenty of seating, private and peaceful. The wood fired hot tub was again another level of luxury not usually found in these style huts locally. The surroundings, views and peace was everything we wanted. A lovely 5 minute walk to Elham and the lovely King's Arms. Plenty of local walks to access too. A perfect stay for a few nights. Having the sheep next door was another lovely touch. Both hosts were lovely, welcoming, chatty and responsive and helped when we had locked our keys inside the hut on departure day!! We will absolutely be returning. If you find this place available, just book it. You won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay at Chapel Farm! The place is super clean, cozy, and absolutely lovely. It had everything we needed and more, the attention to detail was truly impressive. Our host, was fantastic, very responsive, helpful, and incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The patio area is a gem, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended, and we’re definitely planning to return soon!

Lovely couple of days at Guy's place. Comfortable and peaceful within a cute village. The kitchen area was spacious for us all and very well equipped. Log fires kept us cosy and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Guy recommended we visit the nearby town Arras and Montreuil-sur-Mer, which were easy to reach and the recommended restaurants were great.

We loved our stay! Perfect place for a family reunion with plenty of space for 13 people. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking some large family meals. On one of the sunniest day we used the BBQ and played petanque and badminton in garden. The host was very easygoing and good to communicate with.

Enjoy your stay at this beautiful cottage. Too bad the double window doesn't overlook the sea!

The place is beautiful in a peaceful little village. Perfect for disconnection. The photos are accurate, the place is nice, comfortable and optimal. The kitchen and lifestyle amenities are spotless. The host is friendly and available, the accommodation is not so far from the sea, and a beautiful forest that offers beautiful scenery for hiking lovers. The internet connection is also perfect we did not encounter any problems at this level. Each room is equipped with a heater and a window to regulate the temperature for comfort. Everything is available (blankets, towels, gloves, cooking utensils). Parking is available just in front of the house. We had a great time.

We had a pleasant stay with friends and our children in this cottage. It is perfectly equipped and suitable for the large group. Self check-in and check-out is a plus. The pool was a little cold given the date of our stay but had its effect on the children. A place to keep!

For our 5th time in this cottages, it's always nice to come to Cindy's, we will surely go back again next year we love this place I recommend 100%

We had a lovely stay at Katherine’s house. It is a lovely cottage set in beautiful surroundings. We had everything we needed for the weekend and the cottage was very comfy and homely. Katherine was a wonderful host, very communicative and helpful.

Peaceful and relaxing. We loved our stay here. Having breakfast on the decking, taking in wonderful views each morning was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.
