Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in County Cork

Lovely hotel with beautiful views, garden, bar and restaurant. Landscaping work being done near the bottom of the hotel was a minor inconvenience with noise but the quality of the rooms and hotel makes up for it. It’s a solid walk to the MacCurtain precinct but fine if you’re able bodied. We’d stay here again as I’m sure the work is only temporary.

this resolution was made for my brother-in-law and his partner. it was significantly beautiful. especially because they had just come from Dublin, where there had been the riot that caused them to flee a hotel that was set on fire! to arrive at the mom tonight and find friendly faces, a peaceful environment, and beautiful accommodations. A hundred thousand "Thank you's" , Montenotte and staff!

Michael's place is fantastic! It's in a great location with lots to do. Checking in was easy, and the flexibility on breakfast was incredible. Melissa even got us dinner reservations at a fabulous restaurant that was full. We will return the next time we are touring the Ring of Kerry.

Beautiful Apartment within five star hotel and staff. Lots of great amenities. it was refreshing to use the pool, sauna and steam after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. Perfect reset before dinner. Fist night we had a delicious dinner and drinks @ the hotel. This hotel is nestled above the City hence spectacular views, but it is a steep walk up and down the hill if you don’t want to taxi. The hotel team made our stay smooth and stress free from the moment we arrived to checkout. Enjoy.

Unusual location in semi wooded raised slightly away and above the owners home, can't see from the airbnb. Outside seating to two sides, plenty of space inside, well appointed and warm, we didn't need the wood burner. Very relaxing stay. Met both hosts and their lovely dog, very welcoming and helpful. Great allocated parking space, would highly recommend this home from home.

This is a perfect apartment for one person for a short stay. It is conveniently located just few minutes drive from Tralee. The place was spotless and has ample off-street parking, however, being located on a busy main road means that it can be quite noisy at times. Overall this was a great stay.

I stayed here while I was working in the area. From start to finish i couldnt recommend Eamonn enough. He went above and beyond compared to any host i ever used before. House was lovely and clean. Property was ideal for me for the location of my work but would also be ideal for tourists traveling around Cork. There was nothing i asked for that Eamonn either provided himself or helped arrange. From time of booking to time we left communication was excellent and prompt I would recommend this place 110% and if im ever in the area again this will be our come to place. Great night away for a family birthday in Kenmare at Peter's place. Lovely house in perfect condition and only a few minutes walk from the town centre where there are plenty nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Hotel leisure centre is right nearby too which was free to use, although we didn't get around to it. A slightly earlier check-in was kindly accommodated and was seamless. The only unsual thing was the extra payment of €25 in cash which I had to agree to pay before booking confirmation. I paid that to Kris on arrival. Apparently this is due to it being just a one night stay and it goes to the cleaners. Not a big deal but maybe it could've been included when paying on the app. Overall it didn't take away from what was a great stay in a fine house. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in booking in again when back in Kenmare. Thanks Peter and Kris

Started in Peter's house for one night a couple weekends ago. It was a great place to find, house was spotless and Peter was an excellent host to deal with.

Really enjoyed our stay at Michael’s, very homely with plenty of space. Walking distance to Kinsale (via a big hill). Kinsale is a nice town with plenty of eateries, pubs and shops. Michael was a good host and responded promptly to our queries. Would recommend.

We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

Thorsten was extremely helpful and with clear and quick communication. The place itself is very well equipped, modern, clean and just a joy to spend a few days in. A home away from home if you'll forgive the cliche. The view from the house is wonderful and the beach and town are both within easy walking distance. It's not necessarily a beach for swimming although I'm sure you could swim. There is a hiking trail only minutes away but you can't bring your dog because of the sheep. Signs are clearly posted. We couldn't have expected more from Thorsten's place and we will definitely come back!

Lovely home in a great location. Walkable to the town via a path right next to the house. Well equipped with all necessary utilities. Very responsive host with easy instructions for accessing the property. Would highly recommend a stay in John’s home in the lovely town of Kenmare.
