Kid-friendly holiday rentals in County Cork

We spent a week at Seaside House in mid-March. The house was cosy and the location stunning. The strong Internet connection was perfect for work calls. Overall we would thoroughly recommend and hope to visit ourselves again soon.

This place is great. Location can’t be beat - middle of town yet private on a side street. Super cozy yet plenty of space, with seating in living room and kitchen. McCarthy’s across the street became my local (the gastropub menu is fantastic) with plenty of other dining and pub options in easy walking distance. Highly recommend this place and I hope to return.

I don't think I've ever stayed in an airbnb with a host as considerate, accommodating, and fashionable (both in personal and interior decorating style). The space was designed with livability and beauty in mind, and it shows. My family and I settled in instantly, as the space oozes comfort, from the wood burning stove to the well-stocked and compact kitchen. And if that wasn't enough, as it was Christmas, she brought me and my family plates from her meticulously cooked family dinner. If we're ever in Cork again, we will surely rent with her, and maybe even take her out for a cocktail. Thanks, Maureen!

We would HIGHLY recommend Mary's house! The house was perfect--even bigger than it looked in the photos, with four total bedrooms, two sitting rooms, and a large kitchen. Ample parking and a cozy sun room as well. The house is a super quick walk into town--less than five minutes and you're on Clonakilty's main street. The town itself is fantastic--tons of great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, all extremely walkable from Mary's house. We had a fantastic trip and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This home is so cosy while also being beautiful. Perfect spot for a winter, summer or anytime of the year getaway with friends and family! Bernadette was the ideal host-great response time, friendly and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking , beds were very comfortable and all the bathrooms were spotless. Plenty of storage space and spares of everything were offered. The house has everything you need and more and situated in the lovely quaint Kenmare, its the ideal drive time from beautiful beaches, Carrauntouhill and Killarney etc. Can't wait to return!

Had a great stay here as a group and the house was exceptional, suited everyone’s needs and was very clean and tidy, it was very private and the host was great with communication and check in. Highly recommended!

Good location and house with all basic needs. Comfortable beds and good room sizes. No thru traffic, so very quiet. Good place for short stay. Kitchen had Nespresso coffee machine (small alu cups). Short walking distance to Kenmare town and Kenmare Bay Hotel (with gym use against fee). Kenmare has lively shopping streets with nice pubs and restaurants. There is a gas station with small supermarket just before turning into the estate. Very convenient.

My family and I (10 and 12 year old boys) have done many an international travel, and all I can say is this Airbnb might of been one of the best we’ve stayed at- especially for the price. Location, private parking, floor plan, amenities, comfortability, you name it this apartment had it. If I was ever coming to Kinsale again I wouldn’t even entertain another Airbnb, I would just stay here. Thanks for the great space!

Our stay was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and charm, making it feel like a home away from home. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean with so much natural lighting. The living area was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the picturesque town, with plush furniture, and soft lighting that created a tranquil atmosphere. The bedroom was equally inviting, with a comfortable bed and high-quality linens that ensured a restful night's sleep. There was also ample closet space, which made unpacking easy and convenient. The bathroom was clean, with a powerful shower and natural lighting. Location-wise, the apartment couldn't have been better. It was a steps away from Killarney town center, where local restaurants, shops, cafes, and pubs were a couple feet away. Overall, this cozy apartment is the perfect place to stay to explore Killarney and will definitely be returning on my next trip!

The apartment was really cosy and clean, we'd definitely come back! It was particularly lovely that they provided us with a bit of milk, butter, fruit, cereal, some chocolates and wine - and we even got two eggs from their own chickens! The apartment is very modern and the candles in the bedroom made it feel like home. You need to be aware that staying there definitely requires a car and that there's not really anything in walking distance, Kinsale is a ~25min drive using backroads, but we knew that when we went there so it wasn't a problem. At night, because there is nothing close to the property, you could see so many stars, it was lovely. Great for stargazing. Also it is only a ~15min. drive from the ocean, if you wanna go for brunch at Bean & Berry or explore the Old Head of Kinsale.

The house has very spacious rooms and beautiful views of the countryside. It is very close to Kinsale which is a lovely pyeblito and we were able to explore many places of interest both historical and natural. The owners were very friendly and thoughtful, they left us provision to be able to spend the first day without a hurry of shopping. The care they show with the topic of recycling is also appreciated. It was a great stay

Had a great stay at this property. Location was great along the Kerry Ring, and it was the perfect balance of being outside the city while also having restaurants and shops nearby. The house was very clean and hosts made sure we were well accommodated. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great location, tidy apartment, and accommodating host.

Marie’s apartment was perfect for our 4 day stay in Cork - really central to bars and restaurants. The apartment is lovely - looked exactly like the pictures! Loads of room and everything you need to feel at home! The check in/out process was easy and Marie provided clear instructions and was friendly. The apartment is super handy for the bus and train station and within walking distance of all of Corks attractions. Would recommend and hopefully will be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grouse Lodge apartment! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain and sea views that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The apartment itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was fantastic—welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. The only small downside for us was that there wasn’t a space for our dogs to run freely, but the beautiful surroundings made up for it with plenty of scenic walks nearby. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in Kerry!

Julie's instructions for checking in and checking our were clear and she was responsive to messages. The apartment was clean and well presented. The kitchen was stocked with some essentials like tea and milk which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was perfect! Better than I expected. The house has everything that we could need and more. So often airbnbs have the bare minimum but Bernie has thought of everything you could need including homemade bread and butter when we arrived. Super friendly and communicative. The house is perfectly situated. Couldn’t have stayed in a better place

We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of Clonakilty. The place was lovely- spotless, warm and charming- and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed , and Camilla and her staff couldn't have been more helpful. We want to come back !

We absolutely loved John's place, a little gem in the hills. The unit was well equipped and everything was considered. They left fresh fruit, milk, teabags and everything we needed to clean up including seperate bins. The place was spotless clean, lovely shower and the bed was so comfortable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

What a lovely place! We stayed here for a couple days to visit Clonakilty. Noreen was great - she told us everything we needed before our trip and was nice to chat with when we arrived. The place is really nice, every room is spacious and what a view! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Laura’s cottage. Kinsale is right down the road and the view is amazing. The house was cozy and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Laura was very kind and friendly!
