“We had a truely wonderful 10 day workation stay at Karen and Rick's place! Wonderful view from the covered porch, surrounded by chipping birds, the relaxing scent of the ocean right below the property and outstanding hospitality! As we came for a workation and I work on shared 3d modeling, internet up and download speeds we crucial and hard to find in an air bnb accommodation. This place worked really well with their Telus 75/75 plan, which Karen upgraded to when the speeds upon arrival had been a bit less than necessary for my work. My partner set up for his managing job in the bedroom and was able to make all the calls he needs to do all day long without bothering anybody. I could even set up my computer on the porch for two days and was envied for the opportunity to work in such pristine circumstances. In the evenings we went kayaking and we glad to find accommodation for the boats right at the water. Cowichan Bay is very protected ocean terrain with great paddling in the grassy marshes. There are many restaurants to choose from right there in the village. This was our first workation and it was a full success thanks to Karen and Rick!”
Our beautiful floathome is called "Sadhana" meaning a tranquil place to do what's most important in your life -- kayak, write, hike, paint, laugh. It's located in the heart of Cowichan Bay, just next to the kayak shop at Blue Nose Marina.

Situated on a floating home in the picturesque community of Cowichan Bay, Ken's Place will make a wonderful getaway for your family and friends. Cozy living space, comfortable beds, and a kitchen stocked with everything you could need to make beautiful meals. His place is a stone's throw away from wonderful restaurants and shops in Cowichan Bay and only 7 minutes to the city of Duncan. My family stayed for over a month and we really enjoyed our experience there. Ken is a wonderful, responsive host and responded quickly and effectively to any concerns that came up during our stay. Wonderful experience. Thanks so much Ken :)”
