Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Cowichan Bay View Getaway

Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Step Inn Stones is a delightful, private entry suite located in the quaint Historical Village of Cowichan Bay, BC. Located on a no-through road above the village with a beautiful ocean view for a tranquil getaway, we are a five-minute walk to fine dining, shops, pubs, marinas and more. Our newly renovated suite has a small kitchenette, bar counter with a view, new comfy queen sized bed, seating for relaxing, reading and TV watching and a bathroom with heated floors and a rain head shower.

Enjoy your stay in this cozy, bright one-room suite. The space features one full-sized bed along with a pull-out couch. A well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Property is surrounded by nature with Bright Angel Park right outside the back gate. Take your morning coffee, stroll along the trails and be at the river within minutes. A barn on the property is home to numerous chickens, roosters and two inquisitive emus. Enjoy a memorable vacation in this beautiful setting!

Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.
