On a mountain plateau extending between Lefka Ori and the South Cretan Sea one finds the small beautiful village of Agios Ioannis considered to be one of the most isolated villages in Crete with a year-round population. Agios Ioannis is where the road ends and a network of foot paths is starting. Short and long paths lead to the mountain, to the gorges, to the sea. The sea that is also reachable by car! Petres, the greek for "stones", an old "feel like the villagers" house rebuilt in 2023.

At a unique mountainous landscape of Crete Arodamos provides to the guests the opportunity to explore and enjoy nature, relax by the pool at an altitude of 1050 meters with a stunning view of the highest mountain of Crete, Mount Idi and participate in agricultural activities, such as the traditional threshing with the donkey, collecting eggs, milking goats and sheep, making cheese and bread, or enjoy a ride with a bicycle around the plateau. It is ideal both for summer and winter.

There are mini markets located very close to the house and also sea view bar-restaurants where you can have your lunch overlooking the water. Hersonissos center famous for its nightlife and shopping is within a 15min walking distance.

The location is ideal for visiting the top destinations of Crete, such as Balos lagoon, Falassarna beach and Elafonisi. My place is relaxing and ideal for couples. You can enjoy from the veranda excellent views of the bay of Kissamos and the village of Kalergiana.
