Holiday rentals with a kayak in Dallas

The house itself was great—clean and exactly as pictured. It had all the essentials, comfortable bed, and a nice setup for relaxing. The outdoor space is cool. That said, the neighborhood felt a bit rough around the edges. While we didn’t have any issues, it’s something to be aware of if you’re unfamiliar with the area or looking for a quieter location. Overall, the home was a solid and comfortable base. Just make sure to plan accordingly depending on your comfort level with the surrounding area.

Convenient to Main Street in Grand Prairie. A little bit of highway noise (sirens, motorcycles, etc) at night made it hard for me to sleep but my daughter slept peacefully. Very clean! Comfortable amount of space

The house was everything you could need with plenty of space and extra common areas. The theater room was great to get the kids to settle down at night and a separate office allowed for a quiet area to get some work done.

Very much appreciated our stay here. The host was very responsive and was as accommodating as possible Kitchen was well stocked with many utensils. Beds were cozy and the area was peaceful. The nearby park on the lake was accessible and had many pavillions. Would consider staying here again. Thank you!

We absolutely loved Mack and Hannah’s home. It was beautiful, cozy and clean. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and made it hard to get up in the mornings! The neighborhood was nice, safe and quiet. I enjoyed sitting on the patio drinking coffee in the morning listening to the birds. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Uma and Balu’s home was perfect. There was plenty of space for our group and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We brought kayaks, in addition to one Uma and Balu let us use, and kayaked the lake each morning. We will definitely be back!!

This place was perfect for what we needed. Fenced in yard and plenty of places to walk the dogs. There is a variety of nearby trails to walk the dogs with different lengths which is perfect! The lake is also very close/ walkable, which would be perfect another time of year! The house was great and the host was very responsive!

The home was clean, comfortable and felt homey. Great place to relax and spend quality time with family / friends.

I’m writing this review instead of my husband because I have OCD and am incredibly particular about cleanliness and comfort when staying at other people’s homes. That being said… this lake house was practically PERFECT! I had zero issues with cleanliness and found myself daydreaming about living here forever. It was such a relief to not feel the usual stress and hesitation about touching anything or even walking barefoot on the floors—everything was spotless. NO CLOTHES WERE HIDDEN BEHIND CURTAINS (for some reason most homes we’ve stayed at have this problem)!!! I legit took pictures of their interior design highlight to get ideas for my own home too. The hosts thought of every tiny detail to make the stay welcoming and comfortable (they made elephants out of towels! What beautiful human thought of that?!)!I would recommend this place 1000% to even my closest family members! I truly hope I get the chance to come back soon. THANK YOU to the wonderful hosts for giving me hope in AirBnB!

We had a nice relaxing time. The bed was comfortable and we slept so good! Everything was clean & as described in the listing.

Our family spent a long weekend at Alex’s place for the 2024 eclipse. The house was very comfortable and worked well for us and our preschooler. The area is nice and quiet. The foosball table, ping pong table, and other games were a really fun perk. All the TVs were Roku TVs, which made it really easy to stream everything. Host was very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.
