Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Damascus Township

We came for a quick girls weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and homey we felt here. We loved going to the nearby Woodstock museum and a couple of great restaurants in the area. Sadly, the weather wasn’t great but we hope to come back sometime to enjoy all of the amenities that this home and property have to offer!

We stayed at Grandma’s Cottage for my wife’s birthday, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Originally, we had booked another place, but due to some last-minute issues, we were re-booked here—and honestly, it felt like fate. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the cozy, vintage vibe of the house. It’s like stepping into a charming time capsule, with antiques everywhere—record players, an old stove, typewriter, beautiful paintings, unique clocks, and mini art sculptures. Each piece adds so much character! Sheldon (our host) was amazing. Despite the short notice, he kindly accommodated our booking and even stopped by personally to ensure everything was perfect for us. That extra effort meant so much. We’ll definitely be coming back here!

This house was a great!! My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Jessica was super nice and helpful. Responded quickly which was a huge plus! Over all a great very welcoming home :)

We had a great stay! The house is exactly as pictured. We were there for a cheer competition at Kalahari and I couldn’t have asked for a better location. Five minutes to Kalahari and about 15 minutes to Camel Back.

Fabulous home! very homey. well equipped, nice decor. there is board games, vinyl music collection, great coffee, super nice kitchen. Host was friendly and gave us popcorn. the spices were complete. the hot tub and BBQ grill is super nice. there is a nice fire pit near the forest. the deck surrounded the 2nd floor and it's awesome to be able to walk out from your bedroom. thank you!

We had a great stay at Wood’s Edge! The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We really loved all the games and activities. Vanessa was a fantastic host and super responsive. Perfect place to host family and friends- we can’t wait to come back!

This place was the perfect stay in Scranton. Only 1 mile from where I was working downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood that made it easy to unwind at the end of my days. It was very clean (a must) with all the amenities one would need, and check-in/out instructions were prompt and clear.

As a woman staying alone, I felt very comfortable at this cozy retreat by the river. It was a beautiful and comfortable small apartment which was just perfect for me. I had a couple of issues while there, but Emily was always available to help me out. It is probably time to replace the key-less lock since it was very hard to read and locked me out a few times (but not much of a real issue! Emily helped me get in! ) The bathroom was spa-like, the bed was SUPER comfortable, and the kitchen/living room had everything I needed/wanted (other than garlic and wine glasses LOL-I bought my own). The location was quiet and not far from Main Street. There was so much nearby and it was only a 5 minute drive to visit my mother in Bethany Village (a local assisted living facility). I've already told my husband that the next time I visit Honesdale, I want to stay at this retreat again! Hope to see you soon Emily! ~Kathy

We very much enjoyed staying at the Catskill Cabin Duplex Apartment. It was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Great location near ski resorts and restaurants and very easy to get there. Daniel is a great host we recommend this place! Thank you.

We loved our stay. The space has the charm of a historic building but is nicely modernized at the same time. Check in was a breeze with very clear instructions from David. We did not get to try the restaurant downstairs on this trip although we popped in for a nightcap and sat out on the comfortable porch and watched the rain. Inside the apartment, the sound from the restaurant was minimal. The space itself was very clean and well appointed. Overall, we were very comfortable and happy with our stay.

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

We had a great time at Esther’s place! She was quick to respond, friendly, and helpful! It was a cozy little place and we were very happy with our stay!

Beautiful little place and spotless! Was very spacious for a studio. Very close to downtown Scranton and PNC field. Would stay here again when visiting and highly recommend. Silvia gave very clear instructions as to how to get there and immediately responsive!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was VERY clean, full stocked with all of the needed essentials and in a great location right by the ski slope. Both the bed and pull-out coach were SUPER comfortable. All instructions were super clear, and the recommendations were perfect. Thank you for letting us stay at your place, we love Mountain Creek!

Me as well as my family had a great time. Everything was to the T my wife loved that it was very organized, even had a binder that was very detailed, even though it was a last-minute trip my family enjoyed it

The place was great and just as pictured/described. Joann gave great instructions and was very responsive. We were only there for a short stay for a race, but it looked like a great area I would’ve loved to explore if we had more time. The only thing I didn’t care for was the requirement for to wash and dry all towels before leaving. Since I already paid a hefty cleaning fee that seemed like a bit much. And the washer/dryer is small so this took a couple of loads to get done.

This was my third stay at Joe’s place, and as always, everything was great. Joe was super accommodating with my dates, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my visit. The place is clean, comfortable, and consistently a great stay. Looking forward to coming back again!
