The Tower is situated in the historic centre of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood at some eight minutes’ walk from the ‘Markt’. In the 18th century the tower was reconstructed as a ‘folly’, characteristic of the period. We are proud to say that our family has supported this heritage for more than 215 years. In the 180hectare Ryckeveldebos are nature walks, bike paths, heem garden and a fenced dog meadow with swimming pond. The former railway bed now serves as a cycling and hiking trail up to Bruges.
