Holiday rentals with lake access in Danderyd Municipality

Elin’s accommodations were excellent. She was proactive and helpful as we came to Sweden for #Swiftholm. She was willing to go the extra mile, figuratively and literally, for our group. She left us a welcome basket and prepared the home beautifully. The neighborhood was immaculate and safe. You can easily Uber to center Stockholm or take other modes of transportation if you’re adventurous. Elin was ready to help us learn how if needed, too. She had the most comfortable beds with the best smelling linens. There were blackout shades to block the bright late spring Arctic sky. Elin’s home is the perfect place for a respectful girls weekend or multi-person group with tons of space to spread out. We would absolutely recommend her!

Sebastian and family kindly shared their lovely home - the essence is well-crafted comfort rather than anything too fancy. It was perfect for us with a couple of adult children; the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully looked after, the garden is a pleasure to rest in amongst beautiful trees - the kitchen has everything you'd need to stay in for dinner at home. With one of us in a wheelchair getting in to Stockholm was simple - a short drive to Morby Centrum and a single metro ride to most places you might want to go - and public transport with a 7 day card was extremely comprehensive and simple to use. (I should say to avoid confusion the stairs in the house mean it wouldn't work for most wheelchair users...) Stockholm was fascinating in many ways - obviously star venues like the Vasa and Gamla Stan - but just taking a boat ride out to Vaxholm or spending a day in one of the national parks were just as rewarding. A tremendously welcoming place to pass time and venture out from!

Amanda is a wonderful host always there for you. We loved the peaceful and beautiful setting along the sea with plenty of nature, animals and good public connections to Stockholm city. Shopping center is 15 Min. away by foot.

Karin's guesthouse has a very good location on Lidingö, by car or bike you can reach the Stockholm center quickly via the existing bridges. The proximity to the water is also provided, after a short walk you can reach a beautiful swimming spot. The guesthouse consists of a room with integrated kitchen, a bathroom and a sleeping area under the roof. However, this sleeping area is difficult to reach via a wooden ladder attached to the wall. We slept on the pull-out sofa bed in the living room, but that was quite comfortable. A cupboard or the like to hang clothes or a shelf in the shower would have been quite handy. The large terrace is of course also used by Karin and her family. As a guest, however, you have a small separate area with a sitting area and a view of the water. Overall, the guesthouse was very clean and everything is new, the kitchen is very well equipped, very good wifi.

I stayed 3 weeks at Jahan’s, it was perfect. Jahan’s apartment has everything you need, it’s easily accessible from the central station and there is a grocery store a minute away. Jahan is an amazing host, really kind, he respects your privacy but also makes you feel at home. Though he doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Swedish, the communication between us was easy using translation apps. Jahan will communicate you all the indications you need for your stay and if you want to talk more with him, don’t hesitate, he’s a very talkative and funny host and you could speak of everything with him. I can only recommend to stay at Jahan’s, I really enjoyed my stay there, from the apartment to the host, and if I have to come to Stockholm again, I will definitely come back there.

Alexander and Nadine were amazing and wonderful hosts. Their Airbnb was spotless, peaceful, and cozy. We appreciated the stocked fridge and flexible accommodation. Alexander was also generous and gracious enough to drive us to the airport as we had some trouble with Uber. Thank you so much again! Would 1000% recommend staying here!

Peter and Malin were wonderful hosts that were always very responsive to our texts and last minute requests! Their place was spotless, cozy and has a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub that overlooked the sunset and the sea. It was the perfect 2-night getaway destination!

We had a wonderful and relaxing 2 weeks in this home. Very tastefully furnished Sea Cottage, with a lot of love for detail. The location is fantastic and the direct and private access to the water invites you to swim and kayak. We were able to relax well here in nature and at the same time Stockholm was easily accessible by ferry or car for sightseeing and shopping. So you have everything here to experience a nice vacation. The hosts were very friendly, relaxed and discreet. Thank you for this perfect vacation!

Extremely pleasant stay, everything we needed for a perfect forest retreat was there. Mattias went out of his way to give us helpful advice. Location also lends itself well for daytrips to Stockholm (using the commuter's train, for instance). Well recommended and would be happy to visit again!

A great very well-equipped little house with a fantastic view of the sea. We would like to come back at any time.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Well, look no further if you want to relax and enjoy the most wonderful retreat on the Stockholm Archipelago. This is it! This property is simply a delight. It offers historic charm and character but is so well furbished. The bed is so comfortable as are the living room chairs. The burner was a real treat. Our hosts were just the best...allowed us privacy but always responded to any request. This was a great base to explore the area either by foot, locally, or by car across the Archipelago. Stockholm by ferry was so easy. If you want to self-cater, the supermarket is only 3 minutes walk away and satisfies most needs. Quite simply we didn't want to leave. We would without question return if opportunity arose.

Absolutely wonderful place with private sauna and entrance to the lake. Andres and his son are extremely friendly and always responsive. Easy to get there with Uber, walking distance to Gustavsberg with porcelain fabric and shops and nice cafes and restaurants. We will be back again!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!
