Holiday rentals with a fire pit in De Fryske Marren

We had an amazing stay at Lucia’s home in the country and enjoyed the horses next door.

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

We had a wonderful week in Friesland. The cottage was fine: enough available for wonderful vacation, wonderful beds and also bedding fine for each other. The outdoor furniture was also in order with the hammock as a topper. It is also nice to be able to play tennis. Our boat was a short distance from the cottage, being able to sail and cycle.

We had a top stay in this lovely Frisian house. The highlights: - The many toys and extensive facilities for children. Our toddler is still talking about the trampoline and all the toys in the play loft. - The hot tub in which we enjoyed an amazing starry sky. - Good beds, very important! - The very warm and attentive welcome from the hosts, with lots of tips about the area. - The spacious, nice garden with many corners and seats so you can always catch the sun (or shade) somewhere. In addition, the garden is well enclosed and therefore perfect for small children. - A good complete kitchen to cook well. - In an A location with all kinds of fun activities and facilities within both walking and cycling distance. In short, we'd love to come back to this nice place.

We were arriving very late and Alec was meeting us with big smile on his face at 4am and there was cold beers waiting us in the fridge. This was perfect start. Place is great and canal gives something extra for this place. Owner is very helpful and answered very quickly for all our questions. We feel that all in gereral was so nice that 5 stars is too little and therefore we would like to rate our stay 6/5!

Clean, unusual, renovation apartment is in pastoral place . We visited some interesting places in radius 1-1,5 hour driving: Urc, Enkhuizen, Zuiderzeemuseum, Giethoorn ,Zwolle(Park English Work), Museum de Fundatie/Kasteel Het Nijenhuis, Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

We had a nice midweek with Atsje and family. The cottage was nicely located on the waterfront. The cottage is tastefully and efficiently furnished. We have been using the Kayak. The setting is beautiful for cycling. The cozy shopping street of Joure is recommended!

The place and especially Goasse are just great. We had a stimulating coffee drink with interesting topics. The apartment is very central for all excursions and in a quiet area. The view from the living room in the evening sun is phenomenal. Everything is as described and lovingly furnished. Goasse has provided many little niceties, an abundantly filled fruit basket, red and white wine, a water container by the bed and not least a well-functioning bike. We stayed in Hindeloopen during a weekend trip and booked a room with Sharino. The amenities were great, everything you needed was available and also super clean. We were also provided with a baby cot on request. Sharino was always easily accessible and gave us a detailed description of how to reach the apartment. Although it was in the attic it was superbly insulated, we did not notice anything from the heat. We're already considering whether we'll book next year. Although it is minimally located outside, you can still reach the harbor in five minutes by car. It's incredibly quiet for that.

Harlingen is a wonderfully picturesque place, the house was close to the nice center. Recommended in the area are Jopie Huisman, the Planetarium, Sneek, Leeuwarden and Hindelopen. The house has all the comforts, nice complete furnishings and spacious bedroom with bathroom. We had a great time.

Everything all right!

The cabin in the woods is incredible. It has everything you could need. The hot tub and BBQ are an added bonus. We (and especially our dog) really enjoyed our stay. Would 100% recommend.

Beautiful, small accommodation. There are many opportunities to occupy themselves on site, especially for children. Very good communication with the hostess.

Beautiful and cozy accommodation. The photos reflect the place very much. Aagje is very nice and helpful. The surroundings are idyllic and you can quickly get to Groningen by car and can explore the region excellently. We were there for a few days in November. It was very cozy with the log fire. The caravan is fully equipped and spacious. There's nothing missing. At night, when the fire is out, it can get cold in the caravan quickly. There are electric heating blankets in the beds. The heating blankets helped well against the cold, but with an extra heater for the bedroom it would have been better. The caravan is on the premises of a beautiful farm where there are horses. From the living room, you have great views of the countryside and watch horses on the paddock. All in all a great place to stay and recommended.

We had a great sleep in the cottage. It was a lovely cottage with a nice warm pellet stove. We'd love to come back!!

We spend easter weekend here with the two of us plus our dog. We felt welcome from the start and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Perfect home base for long hikes in the forest.

We had a wonderful time with you. The big highlight was the pond, which gave us an enormous amount of peace and quiet. Thank you. We will be back ✨
