Very convenient stay, hospitable host and with facilities as advertised. Perfect spot to explore the Northern part of the island and do some bird spotting.

Marius is an amazing host. The house is picky, so we can completely relax in the beautiful surroundings. The house is quiet place, yet in close walking distance a city's comforts. We've been here for others with our grandchildren who are now teenagers. They suggest it will be a tradition that we go on a trip to Medemblik. There was a bottle of champagne for us as a welcome. However, the biggest welcome was that it was so clean and cozy. You really feel welcomed and welcomed.

Our short vacation over New Year's Eve in the small cute cottage was very nice. The house had everything you need and corresponded to the description. The cottage is too small for a total of 6 people, but the size was great for the 3 of us. The cottage is suitable for families with small children, but it must be noted in terms of beds: the beds are very high and it is not advisable to let small children sleep in it alone. It was a bit tight for me and my daughter. For the 3 nights, this wasn't a bad thing. Alternatively, she could have slept in the bottom bunk bed. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful and there are many ways to do different things. With us, the weather did not play as hoped. Unfortunately, no one has any influence on that. We would recommend the cottage.

Nice cottage in a pleasant quiet place and well located to visit the whole island. And very nice that our dog was welcome.

We had a very nice stay! The accommodation is stylishly furnished, especially the brand new and high quality kitchen delighted us. Even beach toys for the children were available. The beach is in about 15 minutes walking distance, which was perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The location is also great – both Amsterdam and Alkmaar are easily accessible. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

What a lovely cottage this is! The beautiful large garden gives you the feeling of being completely alone here. Was very nice for the children, with all crawl through paths. The wood stove was our second favorite. Burned very easily and gave a lot of atmosphere. The cottage is anyway very cozy and personally decorated, so we quickly felt at home. Fine beds and beautiful lamps everywhere. Close to the beach and near the beautiful Schoorl dunes. This is absolutely recommended. We will definitely come back!

The fireplace was used extensively during our travel time. With the dogs you can reach the Amsteldeich on foot. In Anna Paulowna you will find everything you need. However, we have often been to Julianadoorp for shopping. was certainly not the last time 😊

The bungalow was very nice, clean, and very well stocked. It is in a beautiful park next to the IJsselmeer. Felix was great, super friendly and forthcoming, and helped us quickly with our inquiries. We recommend the place and our gracious host, and will hopefully be returning in the future.

Lovely cottage in a nice quiet area. We will definitely book again. By car everything is easy to reach. Communication is top and everything we needed was present in the cottage.

We have enjoyed the quiet place to stay and the beautiful spaces. I was bothered a lot to get the digital key on my phone, while we were in the cold there. I should have arranged it myself in advance, I noticed later. It was a very nice holiday despite that, it was an ideal place for us to stay. We walked along the water and enjoyed what the island has to offer. There are many activities to do, which are described in the Texel newspaper, which we had taken from the boat. There was no info in the cottage itself, fortunately I was prepared for that. When leaving it was not clear, what had to be done with the garbage..there was one container, where everything was allowed?? I took everything home with me to sort at home. I think that's a minus point!!! It is a recommended place!! thank you.

We enjoyed this beautiful accommodation with the 6 of us. Located in a quiet place on Texel in the middle of the island. Everything can be reached about within 15 minutes by car.

I booked this wonderful apartment just two days before my arrival and was absolutely thrilled! The hostess was very friendly from the beginning, helpful and responded incredibly quickly to all my messages. The apartment was perfect, clean and cozy – exactly as described. The location is fantastic, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Thanks for a great stay, I highly recommend this place!

We (8 friends) stayed in the cottage for three nights. It is of the amenities as described in the photos and was very large enough for us. The living room and garden is spacious and very nice to linger. The location is also very good as the beach is a short walk of 15 min. However, check-in was not completely self-explanatory, as the key had to be picked up and dropped off in a shop about 10 minutes by car from the accommodation, which only resulted from the email of the provider and nothing from the Airbnb listing. In addition, it would have been good if dust had been wiped through the accommodation again beforehand, as the corners were sometimes very dusty and with cobwebs. Otherwise, we had everything in a few very nice days in the accommodation 😊

Beautiful, large guest house with enough space for 12 people. We were there with 9 people. It was known in advance that a toddler will come along. An extra cot or travel cot was also prepared for this, which we found very accommodating. The house is very modern and clean, invites you to feel good. A few more information/information sheets etc. about the area or about sights in the Netherlands would have been nice. Our daughter was also happy about the great playground right across the street from the house. The park was very quiet, clear and clean. All around we were very satisfied.

Very nice stay with 10 people. Great location, also with several cars parking. Lovely garden, both inside and outside fantastic large dining table for dinner and games.

The accommodation is ideally located for excursions to Den Helder, Alkmaar, Haarlem, The Hague, Gouda, etc. By car or bus and train you can reach everything in a manageable time. On site, the North Sea is quickly reached via two dune accesses. In October / November, the beach is not too crowded and therefore well suited for long dog walks. Two restaurants directly on the dune accesses invite you to linger with a drink or two. A successful vacation.
