A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

The chalet is exactly as described in the listing. It is very nice, cozy and practical. Everything was thought of and we were completely satisfied. Contact with Francesca was straightforward and reliable.

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

We had a wonderful time with our daughter. There are so many interesting things to do on the island. The indoor pool with its crazy slides was fantastic. Gerdi was a terrific host. We‘ll come again.

The location on the lake is very nice. The property is a little dark at the jetty, but from noon the sun is there. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable.

A nice place to stay in a holiday park. To the reception 2 min walk, supermarket, swimming pool, mini golf etc also nearby. The house has a second fridge in the storage room. Unfortunately, the house is not very well insulated, but the heating works great. The fireplace makes the living room cozy. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beddings and towels must be picked up and paid at the reception. However, it and Sylvia refunded the amount immediately.

Love this place, if you driving in Netherlands, then this place is perfect. You can easily reach Amsterdam and Volendam by car from here. Recommended!

The house has all the comforts. Anything you need is present in ample quantity. The gas fireplace completes it all. The garden is nicely landscaped with various corners and spacious seating options. Hosts Debbie and Frits ensure a hassle-free check-in and check-out. Great stay!

We enjoyed staying with Jaqueline and Nico very much. An enchanting cottage with everything you need and beyond! Even boat and bikes were present. Jaqueline and Nico were very nice hosts who always responded quickly and constructively to questions and took care of them. We will be happy to come back.

Joke's small apartment is highly recommended. I stayed there with my boyfriend for 5 nights and we felt very comfortable. Joke and her husband are very lovely people. The apartment has everything you need and as a crowning glory a small private garden where you can sit super nicely. Everything is easy to reach. Would love to come again. :)

The country house is just outside, which makes it all the more cozy. Amenities are good. The only real "disadvantage" I found the pigeons of the immediate neighboring property. If you don't mind the sounds, it's really perfect.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful, really clean and provides all the comforts you want. The view of the water from the cottage and the terrace is really great! Outside you can also sit quietly, while, if desired, there is also plenty to do in the region. We thought it was definitely recommended!

The apartment is more spacious than in the photos and very stylish and tastefully decorated – cozy and with a lot of love for detail. The bed is super comfy, I slept great. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with spices for cooking – perfect for those who like to cook for themselves. The residential complex is quiet and offers a beautiful environment – ideal for relaxing. I was completely satisfied with the stay and would love to come back. I highly recommend staying with Vonny!

Very nice place to stay in Texel!

We felt very comfortable and had a very nice few days in Sandy's house. The children loved the playground and the football field right outside the door. In particular, families I can recommend the house. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful house near the beach and next to the center of the village. Beautiful surroundings for hiking and running. Perfect for kids too. The communication with Desirée was fine. When we got there, we got clear information about the house and the area. If we ever come back to Texel, we will definitely go back to this house.

Laurent's place felt warm and comfortable. The outdoor area is private and pleasant, with direct access to both the kitchen (ideal for a quick snack) and the living room (perfect for a movie night). The surroundings are peaceful and attractive. It's only a 10-15 minute walk from the center, making it convenient for buying groceries or taking a pleasant stroll through the shops. The rooms are clean and minimalist, offering a comfortable place to sleep. I strongly recommend choosing his place for its excellent quality-to-price ratio.

Little Paradise is rightly a little paradise. A very nice place, with a lovely garden and a comfortable seat under a cozy veranda. The cottage has everything you need and you are within cycling distance of, among other things, Schoorl, Bergen and Alkmaar. Recommend!

We had a pleasant time at Arnold and Marja's house. Large living room to feel good with a kitchen that has everything.

What a lovely cottage this is! The beautiful large garden gives you the feeling of being completely alone here. Was very nice for the children, with all crawl through paths. The wood stove was our second favorite. Burned very easily and gave a lot of atmosphere. The cottage is anyway very cozy and personally decorated, so we quickly felt at home. Fine beds and beautiful lamps everywhere. Close to the beach and near the beautiful Schoorl dunes. This is absolutely recommended. We will definitely come back!

Pleasant accommodation where you feel comfortable as soon as you open the front door. Everything is well organized and clean. it is an ideal accommodation with children, our son was delighted. For the next guests, we strongly recommend parking your car at Parkeerterrein Parcade Alkmaar Overstad which is a 10min walk away, easy to park and inexpensive (€3.70 between 9am-8pm / free at night) We did not opt for public transport but distances to tourist places are quickly accessible thanks to roads (Volendam / Amsterdam /Keukenhof /...) Thanks to Michelle and her family for offering their home on Airbnb, which allowed us to have a great week of vacation.
