A perfect stay, beautiful home and helpful host!

The flat is warm and comfortable, and perfectly placed for seeing Kirkwall. Shopping for essentials was easy with the Coop so close-by. Good restaurants are also easy to reach on foot. Despite being on the ground floor, it was very quiet at night. We’d recommend staying wholeheartedly!

we had an amazing time at Irene's cabin. The location was nothing other than idilic in every single way. With beautiful views towards the beach which were so beautiful. The beach is just a minute walk away with walks along the coastline in either direction. This cabin is definitely a slice of heaven and we would love to come back. Peaceful and perfect !!

We would book again if we return to Orkney. Dionne was very helpful. The area is well placed for Scapa Flow and the historic places so important to Orkney. The house has a small outside lawn with hedges for privacy, walkers with time could reach the cliffs but easy short drive to parking too. We were 3 adults for just a couple of days and were very comfortable. Great bathroom and views across fields on that side of house.
