Working from home to stay Corona Free? Come to our clean low risk cabin. Internet, no close neighbors, well placed for hikers and skiers (Baker is still open) & also close enough to explore Bellingham. This is a 760 sqft cabin with a king bed, double head shower and cozy fireplace. It is a great couples get away. Bunk beds and a sofa bed make it good for up to 6 people. Located 38 miles from Mt Baker Ski Area and 11 miles from Bellingham in a very private setting; all new inside.
“Great little cabin (not that little, actually) about halfway between remote and city-accessible: just right for our purposes. Frogs are the loudest sounds at night, but the state highway is close so access to groceries, restaurants, hospital (if you need it) is only 20 mins away. Hosts are kind, friendly and everso helpful. We don't want to leave!!!”
Sleeping Dragon Loft is located in the Mt. Baker Foothills on a quiet rural road surrounded by grassy pastures. There is hiking and mountain biking out our backdoor; we are 50 minutes from Mt. Baker ski area and 15 minutes from Silver Lake Park.
“Great place to stay. I've been here a few times now, and plan on staying here again if possible. :-) FYI cell service is spotty at best, so plan to not have any cell service here. Also, wifi can be a bit finicky, but that's not the reason why I stay at Dennis and Sue's place. I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you go.”
Cozy refuge perfect for couples. Situated just off a scenic byway, 13 miles to Bellingham, 38 miles to Mt. Baker National Wilderness. Close to the Canadian border & less than an hours drive to catch a ferry to the Islands, we are a great jumping off point to your next adventure. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast (skier, hiker, mushroom hunter, eagle watcher) or an Urbanite in search of night life & the perfect brew, be it coffee or beer, we welcome you!
“Where is the 6th star!? As a frequent traveler who loves to use Air BnB to find fun and cozy places to stay while traveling, I have to say that Robyn is in the top tier of hosts! Our plans for our 1st year wedding anniversary were cancelled due to the virus pandemic and at the last minute we decided to just do a local getaway for the weekend. We are so glad that we stumbled across Robyn's listing. Her cozy nest was just what we needed for a kick back and relax style trip. When we arrived we were greeted in person by Robyn and Coop (the family pup) and no sooner did we walk up the stairs into the nest to settle in we see a bouquet of red roses, a thoughtful card, sweet treats and a bottle of sparkling wine just for us. We immediately felt welcomed and appreciated. The space is modern, clean and decorated in a fashion that is warm and welcoming. What you notice the most is the attention to detail and little things that make a big difference. Quality pillows, hand made scones for breakfast and lounge chairs for the balcony so you can enjoy the sounds and scenery of the Pacific Northwest to name a few. Even the occasional check-in from Robyn to see how we were doing was unexpected. If you are looking for a place to stay that will exceed your expectations, give Robyn's Nest a try, you will see what I mean when I asked for the 6th star. When we are back in the Mt Baker area we are going to see if Robyn's nest is available first. Thank you Robyn for a fantastic getaway!”
