You can reach the sea and beach of Callantsoog within 10 min. (car). Small town 't Zand with supermarket, bakery and restaurant is only 5 min. away. Visit Schagen with bars and restaurants, shopping and different kind of events in less than 10 minutes. Cheese-city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away, and Amsterdam 1 hour.

Het Soomerhuys is in the center of it all! As the train station is just 1 minute away you will be at Amsterdam Station and Haarlem station within 10 minutes and at the beach within 20 minutes. In the bright basement (with windows) of our unique canal house with façade-garden, on the corner of a canal and a square with large oak-trees you find this b&b wih lots of privacy, nice rooms and close to everywhere you would like to go! You enter the spacious entrance hall with table and coffee / tea supplies; with a private bathroom, separate toilet and a cozy bedroom / living room. Renovated with natural stone and wood. This house and this area are very photogenic.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. Completely on your own. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and also its own garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Wonderful apartment to stay entirely on your own and enjoying the tranquility!
