Within less than 1.5 hours drive (!) you will find some of the best tourist attractions in the Netherlands - such as Amsterdam. All well worth great day trips!

A unique vacation home from 1961 directly on the North Holland dunes, especially suitable for families with children. Family-owned for three generations. The house is well "lived in"; if you are looking for laminate and high gloss, you will not be happy with us. If you love vintage and easy living, however, you will be very happy. :) We also keep prices low by NOT offering SHEETS and TOWELS. Sorry, I live far away myself. Our small but lovingly furnished chalet is very centrally located, so you can start many beautiful excursions and explorations in the area from there. Lutjestrand is about 10 minutes walk away, with the possibility of swimming or surfing. Shopping is 3 km away. Alkmar, Harlem, Amsterdam are about 40-50 minutes away. From the Helder you can cross over to Texel.

Our vacation home is in a sheltered spot and is excellent for a quiet vacation. Close to the beach, dune and sea. Close to cycling, hiking and canoeing routes. Plenty of possibilities for a versatile stay, where of course there is also plenty of space to enjoy a good book and a delicious cup of tea with a setting sun.
