Holiday rentals with lake access in Derwent Valley Council

We had a great stay, a beautiful historic building with lots of character. Everything you need for a great stay was provided. The heating was perfect and the log burner very easy to use. We appreciated the comfortable couch and well appointed living room.

Such a lovely house, very modern and cozy! The showers are great and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed staying by the wood fire in the evening, walking around the beautiful property and to the lake nearby. Jenny was always very helpful and provided lots of recommendations about things to do around. Definitely recommend this place to stay for a beautiful and relaxing experience!

Such a beautiful home in the most perfect peaceful place. My family loved our weekend away in paradise. Melody was super friendly and helpful and the home had everything you could need and more. Highly recommended.

Merino Cottage is set in the most picturesque location. We wish we could have spent more than once night here to enjoy the property. Pip and the team were superb. Communication pre arrival was excellent and well thought out, providing direction advice considering arrival from different locations, as well as places to stop for food etc on the way. Delicious breakfast provisions were thoughtfully left - bread, eggs, milk, yoghurt, home made jams and cereals. Port and chocolates were also provided, which we enjoyed out on the deck looking up at the clear night sky. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone travelling that way.
