Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Destelbergen

The cottage was tip-top in order, very clean, cozily furnished, located in a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom, bedrooms, spacious living space, ...! Very nice also that we could enjoy in the sun on our own, beautiful terrace. Lies responded quickly if we had a question or if we didn't know how the heating worked, for example. She is really friendly and sweet. Highly recommended to stay. Thank you, Lies, for your very good care! We have really enjoyed our stay in Leiedroom!

This Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything. We had a couple of small issues, but they were resolved immediately with such care and attention – truly outstanding service! It made us feel so well taken care of. we had a wonderful time. we have fed the chickens , walk in the garden, seen the bees working and we have enjoyed the house and its huge and comfortable beds. the shower is very comforting and the living room with its large table allows for a great family time. definitely a place to repeat. it's like being in your home.

Mieke and Filip were fantastic hosts, going far beyond what could be expected to ensure our stay was memorable. The booking at a local restaurant was a highlight on our arrival. Mieke made the booking for us when I enquired about places to eat late on a Sunday arrival. The cottage was exactly as described. A very cleverly designed and well- appointed small space with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. A really relaxing home within their large, private, beautifully sunny garden. The area is very safe and all local amenities are within short walking distance. Bus to Bruges stops close by and makes for an easy excursion. Mieke and Filip ensure that your every need is catered for with the attentiveness of experienced , friendly hosts. It was a pleasure to stay with them - and Elle the Belgian Shepherd is a real softie who loves to be stroked. We would definitely return and can thoroughly recommend the Cosy Cottage to others. Filip’s mohitos were outstanding. 😎

We stayed for a month in this beautiful, spacious apartment. It had everything we needed for a long stay, including good Wi-Fi for working from home. Guillaume was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

It was a very nice place to stay. The host was friendly, everything was available and the garden which we didn‘t had time to enjoy is beautiful. The best was to have a private parking space after a long day out.

The location is good: truly within easy walking distance to the city center. We also greatly appreciated being so close to the Brussels Midi (Zuid/South) Train Station, making arrivals and departures a breeze (and exploring other cities like Gent and Brugge). The proximity to the metro with direct lines to both the Brussels Expo and the Atomium was a major plus for sightseeing. It was clear that a lot of thought has gone into providing everything a traveler could possibly need. From thoughtful touches like bathrobes and slippers to a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the city. It offers the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent amenities. Thank you for a great stay!

3 of us seniors from Ireland stayed here. The number 63 bus is two minute walk and also a convenience store. 63 bus takes you straight to and from central station Brussels. Bus was never crowded. Amaury was a very helpful host, he advised us on where to visit. He answered all my many questions patiently and quickly. The apartment was bright and clean with just basic bedroom furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and living area is lovely. The apartment is on floor 3. There are two lifts but it’s not a difficult climb. Travel for seniors is €8.30 return on any journey inside Belgium provided you return the same day. We explored Brussels, we visited Ghent, Antwerp, Louvain, Namur, Dinant and Mechelen in the 7 days. The trains were spotless and never overcrowded. The cream on the cake was when our MEP Ciaran Mullooly brought us on a 3 hour tour of the European Parliament. Thanks again to Amaury for his kindness and helpful ways. We had a wonderful visit to Belgium

Everything you could possibly need and more: clean, well-equipped, central location, quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Lots of local shops and cafes within walking distance. Perfect base for exploring Brussels.

Nice house. Friendly, highly educated and very pleasant hosts. If You like crowed, full of business or tourist challenges day and calm and very peacefull night, this is right place to stay. You should have a car (your own or rented), it is my own opinion. Thanks a lot, Laurent and Bernadette.

A little slice of paradise, we had a great time in a beautiful area. The setting is green and completely quiet in the heart of nature. The surrounding garden is beautiful. The cabin is comfortable and super well appointed. Patrick was super welcoming. We will come back!

What a lovely place for a weekend getaway with friends. Communication with Evelien was quick and smooth. The cottage was clean, spacious, quiet and had nice facilities. Recommended!

What a wonderful place! Katia is a great host, responds quickly, thinks along and we were even allowed to check in earlier. The house is very complete and decorated with care. That made us feel right at home. Good to know..Ursel Air Base is really very close. So yes, you will hear an occasional plane coming over. On the other hand, it also has something else. And they start at 10 a.m. and keep up around 6 p.m. Sleeping in is therefore fine😉

The cottage is more beautiful than the images! It is accessible even if you do not have a car, though a car would've made things a lot easier 😅 The area has a few walking routes you can take and see some horses and sheeps. Great to wind down and be with nature for a while. Elena and Jasper are friendly and very responsive too. Overall I recommend! ☺️

The location was just excellent and the perfect place for us to explore Belgium & The Netherlands. It is so peaceful and quiet, plenty of space to relax. We visited with our four year old cocker spaniel, who had a great time. The road to the property is extremely bumpy but well worth the slow and steady journey! Although you are out in the wilderness, which is very relaxing, there are also so many amenities within a ten minute drive. All the locals are so very friendly. My wife who is a huge nature lover, spotted plenty of birds, bunnies and even a deer! Not that it is the owners or properties fault at all, just part of the wilderness, but we did have quite a few ticks on our dog from the garden - so just ensure they are up to date on treatment and have a tick comb handy! Anne was a wonderful host and stayed in touch throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to return in future.

We greatly enjoyed this place. Completely unwind in a green environment with lots of privacy. Ideal destination to spend a sunny winter weekend, but also the sound of the rain on the roof and the crackling of the fireplace make you forget the outside world. Everything was neat and cared for. The cottage is nicely decorated and really everything you could need is there. The ideal way to completely relax and enjoy the tranquility (but also the birds, bunnies and the heron that lands just in front of you). Of course, the jacuzzi and hot tub complete the whole thing, but even the outdoor toilet really belongs to the off grid project! Great! We'd love to come back!
