Dat Melkhus – North Sea air and sauna

North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. Perfect spot for relaxation, nature, cycling, golf, water sports and culinary delights. More information about the house can be found in the photos.

Haus Theda

Welcome at Haus Theda! Built in 2023, the scandinavian style low-energy house is situated with its "sister house", Haus Swanhild, in a garden district near the lake of Fockbek. Its barrier-free and light-flooded interieur is defined by an open gallery space with a combined kitchen dining and living room with stove and sofa/double bed, next to a sweet sleeping room for two. A galery space upstairs invites for relaxed moments and sleeping aswell. The veranda is equiped for outdoor living.

Holistic tiny houses for climate positive breaks with maximum comfort. E-Charger + allergy sufferers! The seven-meter-high window fronts with panoramic views towards the west over the wet meadows of the bird sanctuary let you enjoy the sunset on the sofa every evening while the fireplace crackles. The solid wood houses from sustainable forestry have a heat pump, a PV system, biological treatment and water decalcification. A charging station for electric vehicles is available.
