A glorious spot. Thanks for a fantastic house to spend Easter in, I don’t know how you keep it in such great shape in such a remote location. A labour of love I’m sure.

What a beautiful place in the rainforest for our family to relax. It was well stocked with all the basic essentials. We had a wonderful time!

This place was AMAZING! Really nice house in a beautiful place. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The creek was absolutely amazing, very good for cooling off and skipping some stones. The Daintree rainforest is beautiful, full of interesting things. A place you should definitely visit is the Daintree Discovery Center, which teaches you so much about the forest, its history and the things inside it. You may even see a cassowary while driving or taking a walk in the forest. Everything was amazing, thanking you Des for giving us lovely accommodation while visiting the historic place. Pro tip: Make sure to leave no food scraps anywhere, as ants will come. Fun facts: The Daintree rainforest is the oldest rainforest in the world-over 130 million years old, surpassing the Amazon by 10 million years. The cassowary is one of the closest living animals to the dinosaurs.

The pictures don’t do the place justice, absolutely beautiful surroundings and lots of local things to do to get a real feel of the Daintree. Karen was absolutely excellent as a host making arrival and departure very simple with a long list of recommended activities
