This place is ideal if you want a break from the city. The caretaker-cum-cook, Udaya, is very efficient and helpful. He has joined here quite recently but you wouldn't know it given his familiarity with the place and his way of handling any requests. The hosts are extremely helpful and responsive. Although Rajeev was travelling abroad and Sharmini was in Colombo, they kept in touch over with us to ensure we were comfortable. Kandy is about 30 minutes away. The last kilometre or so of the road to get here is very narrow but the road quality is good (there *is* a rough stretch just before the property but it is barely 100 metres). We had a power cut on our last day there that lasted for a long time. (This is apparently unusual, and it is true we didn't face any disruption during the earlier two days we were there.) While it was inconvenient, the emergency lights that are there in each bedroom helped a lot. Udaya whipped up a full dinner for us despite the power cut.

The place is very spacious, clean and not to forget the amazing, expansive view. The Garden area is refreshing. The best part of the stay has to be the Host Achala and his lovely family. They made us feel at home, helped us with all our queries, and took care of all our needs. It was an unforgettable stay. Will definitely come back

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it offers complete privacy and peaceful surroundings—just what we needed to unwind. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. We enjoyed cooking some of our own meals, while the lovely village family treated us to some delicious home-cooked dishes as well. Bala, the manager, was an absolute sweetheart, always warm, kind, and smiling. We’re already looking forward to coming back whenever we need a break from our busy Colombo life!
