The Bumbles Cabin on the Lake

Our beautiful cosy cabin has been recently built to enable our guests to enjoy our stunning lake and relaxing surroundings. It is totally private and the perfect place to relax. If you would like to fish, the lake is fully stocked with fantastic fish up to 35kg, fishing costs 12€ per 24hrs and equipment is available to hire for 12€ as well if required. A BBQ, firepit, sun loungers, and a spa pool (June-September) ensure that your stay will be idyllic in this picturesque setting.

This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

Renovated 18th century stone dovecote, with a wooden terrace facing the bastide of Monpazier 1 km away, with its shops, medical practice and emergency services. View of Biron Castle 10 km away. The Dordogne and Vezère valleys where there are several castles and various historical and archaeological sites, boat trips on the Dordogne, Sarlat. More information upon arrival.
