Holiday rentals with lake access in Douglas

Melissa Joy's place is so peaceful and cozy. Our family of 10 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant were very comfortable. The little ones had plenty of room to play and the adults had great seating with a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to host our family Thanksgiving dinner. We had such a great time and we plan to return for the summertime!

We stayed here for a girls getaway and it was really lovely. Decorated nicely, lots of things to do and overall a very relaxing place super close to downtown Saugatuck.

This place is just gorgeous. Great views, clean and comfortable. Rob went out of his way to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this beautiful home on the lake.

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

Great home with all the amenities, along with a great location across the street from the lake. We will certainly be looking to stay here again in the future.

this was so perfect! i came here to celebrate my birthday with my friends and we had so much fun ! everything was clean and organized when we got there and it was such a cozy and comfortable place !

Such a nice little lake house! Honestly looked even better than the photos. I booked the day of a few hours before and the hosts were very prompt in accepting my request. House was spotless, bed was comfy, loved the pool table and backyard. Would love to come back with friends in the summer when it’s warmer out!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

Upon arrival, there was some kind of misunderstanding with the cleaning people and it looked like our unit was not cleaned prior to arriving. We arrived pretty late but Michael responded very fast to my message and was able to get this taken care of right away for us. He was very accommodating and helpful. He sent multiple messages prior to the arrival date with helpful instructions on entering the unit and parking. The space itself was great and perfect for two people. Walking distance from the little downtown area and the river. We enjoyed our time in South Haven and would stay here again if we ever visited again!

Sameena was wonderful and extremely responsive. This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have been to. We had three toddlers with us and weren’t worried about the cleanliness of the floors, walls or surfaces. The very pleasant cleaning woman lives close by if anything comes up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The only inconvenience is that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the home but there is one available to use down the street with clear instructions on how to get there. Overall this was a wonderful experience with plenty of space!

Patty's place was GREAT! My 3 sisters and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The Condo was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the living room, bathrooms and in the kitchen to cook meals. All 3 beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We were able to drive North, South & East less than 30 minutes to visit wineries, shops, antique malls and fine restaurants. There are lots of things to do close to Coloma for 4 retired ladies. We loved walking down to the beach every evening to watch the sunset and waves as they rolled in.

What a gem! My family of 5 stayed here mid-October, off season for South Haven. It was so peaceful and we were able to walk downtown every day. Going to the beach felt like going to the backyard, it was that close. We would have been lost without the beach amenities that were supplied, I greatly appreciated those. My kids loved the play closet. The black out curtains and sound machines in every room were also appreciated. An absolutely wonderful stay and we would come back here in a heartbeat (we could even bring friends, there are SO many beds and sleeping options!).

Great stay as usual! We’re regulars staying at Stephaney’s place and will continue to come back each year. Beautiful sunsets, picturesque and peaceful area. Nothing not to love at Stephaney’s!

Rebecca is a wonderful host. Everything you could possibly need or want was in the apartment. Her instructions were very easy to follow. Check in/Check Out was a breeze. Right in downtown South Haven, so you can walk anywhere downtown. Couple of things to note- you do have to go up 24 stairs to get to apt. No elevator. The patio is shared with another apartment, not connected directly to the apartment. Lot parking about one block away unless you can snag a three hour spot in front of apt. There is a bar a few doors down which can get a bit noisy in evening. Just bring ear plugs for sleeping. Was well maintained and updated. Great for weekend getaway.

Tina's place is a cozy spot near the Grand Haven State Park and easily walkable. I caught a beautiful sunrise and my husband and I made sure to travel down to the beach for a beautiful sunset. There is a decent amount of stairs, so we definitely got our activity in.

Fantastic location, close to downtown but the loudest noise besides a little thunder were the waves hitting the beach. Definitely booking again.

Lovely cabin for a girls weekend. Great central location for day trips to South Haven and Saugatuck.

Kelly was easy to work with, had great communication, was very accommodating, and the cottages were so cozy & quaint! The biggest plus was getting the opportunity to use that amazing pontoon boat and getting out on the lake. We would definitely stay at this lake again! What a fun area. Having such a fun time we started looking at Kelly’s other properties for future getaways!

Beautiful location - loved the closeness to Lake Michigan - loved the dual access over the sand dune or a trail through the woods. We were a couple staying for the weekend, so we only used the main house, but we could see how wonderful the “compound” would be for a group of our couple friends to join us. Easy peasy check in and communication. From host Loved it!

Charming, romantic, rustic, peaceful. Cannot overstate how lovely our stay was. The cottage is just as described and provided everything we needed to have the weekend away that we wanted. Highly recommend getting out in the early morning to go deer spotting! We walked the entirety of the trails and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely staying here again!

This was a Greta stay with my girlfriend. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Anne was a great host and was always quick to respond. The welcome surprises in the fridge were a great gesture. Definitely reccomend staying here!

Beautiful home, We only stayed for two days but it was extremely comfortable. The jacuzzi was shut down for the season but we did enjoy the kayaks. The bed in the master bedroom was honestly my favorite part. So comfy! definitely would stay again. Host were friendly and responded promptly to questions.

Cute and comfortable cottage. Loved that it was so close to the beach, and within walking distance of downtown.
