In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood, a swivel grill and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Haus Hermann - A Moment of Nature

Haus Hermann is a lovingly modernised holiday home in a contemporary country house style, located at the foot of the Westerwald. Bright, welcoming rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy atmosphere make it ideal for families, hikers and cyclists. The accommodation is centrally located in the village on the main street. Shops, bakeries and restaurants can be found in the nearby village, which is about a 5–8-minute drive away. Terrace currently usable on a provisional basis. 🌿

House Seeblick, Heisterberg, Dogs, Westerwald

Beautiful vacation home on 2400 sqm fenced premises. Pure relaxation in the beautiful Westerwald. Hiking trails, animal parks, the Westerwald lake district, cities with history and beautiful old towns are in the vicinity. The Heisterberger Weiher is within walking distance. There are snacks, sunbathing lawns and the possibility to swim. Dogs are welcome and do not incur any extra costs. Dog waste on the property is prohibited! In the basement there is a sauna. No Wi-Fi!

Enjoy our apartment in this quiet and centrally located accommodation with direct access to nature on the Rothaarsteig, whether for hiking or biking. Shopping, pharmacy, restaurant, bus and train station are within walking distance. A cot is available on request. We can also provide a washing machine and dryer on request, for a fee. For longer stays (from 28 days), intermediate cleaning is required, the fee will be charged on site.

In the stables – side by side with chickens and horses

'IM HORSE STABLE' is on the ground floor of the barn of the mill estate. It used to be a stable. (Take a look at my other apartment 'barn loft' too). The room has low ceilings and small rung windows. The space is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.
