Monthly Rentals in Durants

We had an amazing time at Shannon’s rental. Shannon provided very clear instructions on navigating to the property and we were able to find even with limited gps access. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed! And we loved the garden space outside, especially the large mango trees. And how easy it was to access the beach and other local restaurants. Her family was incredibly friendly and we had a delicious meal at their restaurant. Karaoking with the kids was one of the best parts of the trip! We wouldn’t hesitate to return if we ever get lucky enough to visit Barbados again. An extra thanks to the morning wake up call from the neighborhood green monkey family that made sure we didn’t miss a second of daylight in paradise😆

Miles and Karen looked after us well. There were small issues (there always are) and they dealt with them promptly and with understanding. The area and the unit are charming. Private access to the beach below is a great benefit. It is just off a road that is busy during the day. Whilst there is traffic noise we did not find that disturbing and did not interfere with our sleep. We appreciated the sizeable fridge freezer, the cooker that worked and plentiful kitchen equipment. The nearest supermarket is Jordan’s within 100 meters, mostly for basics. Holetown has a Massy’s store which is much better. Bus ride 15 minutes. Also more restaurants there to choose from. There is the Carlton store in the other direction. More choice than at Jordan’s. Again, 15 mins by bus. Off the sandy beach in the water there are rocks you find underfoot. Miles has provided rubber socks to protect your feet just in case. Within minutes is the Bikini Beach Club and that is a great asset.

Staying at Prior Park was a bliss. The property is brand-newly renovated and looks and feels it with lots of impressive gizmos all around. The location is great fit those looking to stay at an affordable price on the west coast. I suggest however having a car handy as there aren’t much in the way of public services and taxis are expensive. Our host was fantastic, always on hand when needed and we can’t thank her enough for making our stay absolutely incredible. Best Airbnb in barbados bar none!

What a beautiful place over looking the ocean. It’s was very clean and easy to find. The property has cameras outside/gated so you feel secure at all times. The landlord was very fast at getting back to us wherever we had a question and she also gave us a detailed list of places/ restaurants/ activities to do on the island. First time in Barbods and I’ll defo be back!
