Holiday rentals with beach access in East River

We were there for a funeral. One family member came in from Hawaii, one from Washinton, and one from Califirnia. The apartment was cozy, well-appointed, and literally a block from the beach. The nearby grocery store and eateries was helpful. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

Very nice and comfy. Lots of room, well stocked coffee bar. WiFi was great. A great location, walk to any restaurant and many other sites.

The apartment was clean, quiet, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had a lovely stay at Jenna's. The apartment was spacious and very clean, as shown in the photos. Well located, minutes from the boardwalk, quiet area. We met Jenna and her husband, who were very nice. They made sure everything was going well for us and they gave us restaurant recommendations. I recommend it without hesitating!

The place is beautiful specially for night city view . Quite place . House is very clean everything and host is very friendly and respectful and responsible. I recommend it’s best for summer because you can enjoy river view on board and fresh air . Winters it’s very cold for close to river for air . We had fun and we enjoyed. Pretty quiet place. Lovely . Loved this house. Group fo 11 family members and we had so much space. Children and young adults entertained with all the extra activities like the pool table, table tennis etc. Great home, stayed 8 nights and loved it!

Daniel was a thoughtful host and made his apartment a great home away from home. The beds were comfortable and he had provided thoughtful touches and amenities that guests might need. Parking was easy, and he had even offered to move his car when our guest arrived. It was easy to walk to the beach or to the ferry to Manhattan. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would stay here again on our next visit to family.

We had a good time in this house with the family. Within approx an hour, we were able to be in Manhattan thanks to bus S51 + Long Island Ferry (free) or bus SIM1C. The buses are not included in MTA 7/30-Day unlimited sadly... We would come back with pleasure. Thanks for the stay

Carmen’s place was great, very spacious, neat & clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were also all done up real nice. It was perfect for 4 families and the basement was perfect for the kids. The house was pretty close to everything and the street we were on was very quiet. Carmen and Louis were both very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again. This is the best value accommodation in Brooklyn and Queens. If you commute up North by car regularly you will have to pay the tolls, so getting a EZPass Transponder is essential. You should plan far out if you take MTA. It is also amazing that there is a washer, dryer, and stove that some other Airbnbs restrict or don't have. Street parking is manageable unlike some densly populated parts in the city. Also being by the beach is great.

Nick’s place is the jackpot! My stay was comfortable and peaceful - two of my most important requirements in an airbnb. I had everything I needed, and Nick checked in to make sure my stay was going smoothly. He was also readily available for any questions I had. I loved the ease of attending my workshop at Pioneer Works. While my colleagues were taking Ubers in from other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, I had a mere 4 block walk. And the Red Hook neighborhood is a slice of life. I had everything I needed within a few blocks - restaurants, bars,bodegas and a few nice shops. This was an absolutely delightful place to stay, and I look forward to coming back and hopefully staying longer next time.

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

Great hospitality and communication was excellent. View of the water and lots of space. Could also park right out front, vet accommodating and friendly.
