Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Cape

Our stay of one night was too short to be able to appreciate Kim's place fully, but we will certainly be back to make more of it! The location overlooking the lake and sea is magnificent, and the patio calls out to be used for meals, reading a book or birdwatching. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen homely and well-appointed. Communication was easy, and when I got lost on google maps instead of having used the available directions, Kim was superquick and clear in putting me into the right direction. Checkin was flexible and simple, checkout as well. In a word - wonderful! Thank you so much!

Chezanne and her team are excellent hosts, they were very helpful and made our stay memorable with the Xmas carols and cake.

A stunning Canal house, everything you need for a short or longer stay. Clean crisp bedding, kitchen well set up for all occasions, lounge with canal view. Marrion is very responsive to messages & helpful. Great Braai area in the gardens & a 2nd Braai for cooking next to the water. Used the jetty at the house for docking our boat. I will be going back & would recommend to others.

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

Wow...Thank you Doreen for sharing such a special home with strangers. It was an amazing Easter Weekend, so peaceful, so beautifully decorated and such a stunning plot on the Canals, every persons dream holiday home. A real gem on the St Francis Canals with views to die for. We say thank you and we will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marks place in Parker Road. Very convenient between Bushman's and town with both being walkable. Mark was very friendly and accommodating.

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

My party of 6 had a fabulous , comfortable stay. It was everthing advertised and more. A home away from home. The apartment is very spacious, nicely furnished and well-equipped. Toddler friendly. Nice balcony as well. Very happy with the location. The host was helpful and very prompt with their communication. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place inside matched the description and pictures. Host was easy to communicate. Place is nice and central to various activities. There was construction one of the mornings, Wish we were just informed of this. It would also be good to have some pictures of the location outside as well.

Emma’s apartment was perfect for a quick overnight stay prior to an early morning flight as it’s only 10 minutes from the airport. The apartment was clean and neat and Emma was very helpful.

We had the pleasure of staying in one of the Dolphin Nook apartments hosted by Linda and Allie. From the start of booking until we left the property we experienced exceptional service. The instructions were clear and concise and easy to follow. The apartment is amazing and is tastefully decorated. Linda and Allie have thought of everything that one may need. The fridge was stocked with water, milk, cool drinks and wine, which were quite welcome after a long drive. There was coffee and tea, a fruit bowl and even spices and oil in the cupboards. Linda and Allie messaged from time to time to check if everything was in order and offer their assistance without being intrusive. The attention to detail is impressive. The bed linen and towels were clean and fresh. The bathrooms were spotless. The sea view is a bonus as well as the braai area on the patio. It is a quiet complex and one felt very safe. We miss our “home from home” and will definitely be back!

Staying at Henda’s place was an absolute pleasure! If it were up to me I’d book Henda’s place every single time I visit Gqeberha, my kids and I loved every minute of it. Henda was also super friendly.

Great accommodation, good bed and bath linens, flawless cleaning, well-equipped kitchen. The host responds quickly and is very kind. There is a supermarket just ahead which makes it very easy, the place is quiet and the condominium is very nice.

A huge thank you to Peter and Chery! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

We had such a great stay at Andrew and Alex’s place! It’s very well situated, and they really thought of all the small details that made our visit comfortable and stress-free. The pizza was absolutely delightful, and having lights and internet during loadshedding was a huge bonus. We truly enjoyed our time there, and the hosts were quick and helpful in answering any questions. Highly recommended!

René’s place is breath taking. Super clean and tidy and has everything you need. You just bring your groceries then boom you’re sorted. With the beautiful views you’d never want to close your blinds or even leave the place. Loved it
