Cottage holiday rentals in Eastern Scheldt

We loved Claudia’s place! It far exceeded all our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures suggest. An incredibly beautiful area so close to the waterfront from some gorgeous sunsets. 15 mins walk from the small village with an excellent small Spar supermarket and takeaway but very peaceful too. Also excellent cafes/restaurants a short cycle away and Claudia kindly let us use all her bikes. Impeccably clean, really comfortable beds. Brilliant hot tub and super fun area downstairs perfect for teens! It could not have been any better for our short stay in the amazing Netherlands. Wonderful!

Very nice cottage in which we had a great holiday. We could watch wild goose flights in the beautiful field across the street. The surrounding area has many bike paths to explore the surrounding area by bike. There is a downside to the shower that deserves a small repair because the temperature tap is blocked and it is no longer adjustable once the water runs. Other than that everything was perfect!

We spent 4 nights as a couple at this gorgeous cottage in Bornem. Everything was very clean and tidy and exactly as shown in the pictures and described in the listing. The kitchen in particular was extremely well equipped. I have rarely seen this in a vacation rental. In addition to kitchen utensils of any kind, there was also a freezer and microwave. Also noteworthy is the great secluded location surrounded by nature. If you are looking for peace and relaxation and just want to switch off, this is the place to be. The hot tub overlooking the lake then does the rest. We can only recommend this place and will definitely be back.

A great location; wonderfully quiet and equipped with every comfort. The host is welcoming, friendly, quick to respond, and flexible. We have enjoyed it!

We had a lovely stay in Kapelle. If you are looking for a quiet place with lots of privacy, Casa Fico is definitely recommended! What a luxury: a 'private' hot tub overlooking the Zeeland fruit trees. From Kapelle you have many fun trips within 30 minutes or you rent bikes or an e-scooter to explore the area.

We found a lovingly designed, very well equipped house in every way. Everything was like described and as pictured. The house is quietly very close to the dunes. In the garden we saw a rabbit almost daily. Esther, the manager, was very friendly and responded super quickly and immediately found solutions for everything. We enjoyed our stay and would vacation here again. Thank you!

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

Everything was as described, the amenities were great. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Very good internet. Since we were only there for one night, we can't say much about the location. We would come back for a longer stay. :)

We did a girls' tour and felt very comfortable in the house. Everything you need is there. The house is very nicely decorated and everything was super clean. The terrace with adjoining large meadow where our dog was allowed to romp was also great. Michiel and his wife are super nice hosts. We will be happy to come back!😊

Warm, friendly welcome from our host. This accommodation is clean, generous & well presented and is conveniently located for Bruges, local walks and amenities and for connection to other local towns and locations. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and would suit walkers and cyclists (it has an integral garage) and there is adequate local on-street parking. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed 3 nights during the Easter holidays with our daughter (18 months). A crib and high chair could be borrowed at a small surcharge. Due to the stairs and the open construction, it is not ideal for infants, but we still felt very comfortable.

Absolutely recommended, we enjoyed the stay very much! The cottage is very cozy, super neat and clean, and the enclosed garden was also perfect for our dog. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance.

Great out-of-the-way cottage in a very quiet location. Quick car ride into Gouda and a short trip to the highway. Location was great for exploring south central Netherlands. Great rental for a small group with good kitchen, spacious living area, small garden and two bathrooms! Rianne was most helpful and was a terrific host!

We had a wonderful time in Ousdorp. Our twins loved to romp around outside all the time and play with all the great stuff in and around the house. The house is very well located in the park and you have perfect privacy. The way to the beach is just a stone's throw away. We are really looking forward to our next visit with Dennis and Sandra 😊

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The studio is very nice and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect for day trips in the area. Communication with Jos also went smoothly and we were able to enjoy our vacation very much.

Very nicely renovated cottage, located in a cul-de-sac street of a quiet complex. The house is very clean, lovingly furnished and child-proof (2 and 6 years old). The small beach on the inland sea within walking distance is great for small children and very quiet. The communication with Marie-Claire was very warm and accommodating. We got great tips for excursions and restaurants from her. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation!

We absolutely loved our stay with Johanna. The design of the house is simply stunning—you can feel the love and attention to detail in every corner. Thoughtful touches like bath salts, Easter chocolates, and a bottle of wine made us feel instantly at home. This cozy cottage is the perfect retreat, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. I wholeheartedly recommend it to couples looking for a peaceful escape in the Dutch countryside. If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars, I would. We stayed with Annemieke & Peter over Easter. The cottage is even more beautiful than in the pictures... we felt right at home. The morning bird orchestra was a wellness for the soul. We will be happy to come back.

We, family with 5 and 9 year old boys, had a great time at Ouddorp in Walter's place. Everything worked out great and the cottage is very lovingly decorated. Ideal for us for 6 days. A small staircase/ladder to the bedrooms was very exciting for the children. It wouldn't have been for grandma:0). Everything, as shown in the pictures. Just once across the street and the dune and you are on the beach. Everything was great for us, would be happy to come back.
