Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Eau Claire

It is always a pleasure for my visiting family to stay at Behind the Pines. It’s their favorite place in Lake Holcombe.

We loved our stay! We were a little closer to the neighbors than expected but we never even saw them. The stairs are very narrow but the description says that so we can't complain! We loved the provided tea assortment! Would book again!

My partner and I were visiting Eau Claire for the Eau Claire Marathon/Half Marathon. Jonathon's property is a perfect location for any future runners looking to participate in this event from out of town. It's a walkable distance from the race start/finish (no need to fuss with parking and road closures!) and both the full and the half go by the property so your family/support squat have an easy built-in location to cheer you on. There are a few steps to enter the front and back door, but there are handrails (good to know if your legs are sore the next day!), but otherwise the living space is all on one level. Bonus features about the property: the fenced-in back yard was GREAT for our dog and the bed is extremely comfortable!

Colleen was an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with, and typically responded to messages within 30 minutes. She was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We are a family of 9 adults and 4 small children that live in Washington; and met in Chippewa Falls to celebrate our son's 31st birthday. Colleen's Airbnb was absolutely beautiful, and the perfect place for a family gathering. It's hard to put into words how lovely this home and property were. Everything about this home was high end: the kitchen was complete with every possible appliance ; the finishings and furniture were tasteful and high quality; the beds were very comfortable with nice linens and comforters. The 4 bathrooms all had showers/tubs. The setting of the home was lovely, and the lake was a beautiful backdrop for our time spent inside and out. We enjoyed the fire pit, the playset and walking on the frozen lake. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had such a lovely time @ the Luxe Chalet! It was the perfect getaway for our annual retreat. The beds were all so comfy and we all slept great. We appreciated all of the little touches and how well stocked the kitchen was. The decor was beautiful and we just kept saying how you can really tell when a woman is in charge! Heidi thought of everything we might need. The hot-tub was awesome as well. We will be back, that’s for sure!

Rachel was so great to work with and always super responsive with questions prior to arrival! The house is adorable and super clean! Has everything you need. Very peaceful and beautiful setting.

Simon was the BEST!! He was super kind and the place was AMAZING!! The pictures didn’t do justice for how BIG the place felt too! It was very clean and me and my wife had so much fun!! Simon gave us a canoe and we went out on the lake and it was AWESOME! I am 100% gonna be booking this place again and again because of how kind Simon was! Loved the stay!

Abbey's place is one of the best places you could stay at. She provided an amazing place where we could stay for a semester while my girlfriend studied at Stout. Originally, the Airbnb was only for one person since it has a one person bed, but Abbey bought an extra mattress so that the both of us could sleep comfortably, which we really appreciated. Furthermore, the kitchen is amazing and has everything you need to cook. The communication with Abbey is also very easy. She answers very fast, and if there's any problem, she makes sure it is resolved as soon as possible. Last but not least, if you love animals, this place will be perfect for you. All neighbours have dogs who loves attention and like to play in the backyard, and Meow Meow is also not shy and will come ask for attention when you're in the hallway, which we absolutely loved. If you're looking for a place where you stay comfortably, with amazing neighbours and animals, and a great host, this Airbnb is really recommended.

We absolutely loved this cozy space and all the attention to detail in the thoughtful touches throughout the unit. The proximity to restaurants and shopping can’t be beat – was nice being able to park the car for the weekend and just walk where we wanted to go. The artwork throughout the unit was impressive and the abundance of comfortable seating was very much appreciated for curling up with a book and just relaxing. We look forward to our next visit!

Laurie and Bill were wonderful hosts. They were fast to take us in, respond to us, and give us great recommendations in the area. The place was right on a lake with plenty to do and we had a great time sitting on the swings.

Better than ever imaginable! Abbey is an absolutely wonderful and kind host for this well-furnished and cozy room in a charming college town. She is responsive and proactive in communication and made sure we had a good stay here in Menomonie. The room was very comfortable and the stay was certainly above and beyond. If I could rate this six stars out of five, I would!

I stayed at The Blue Iris Marigold apartment for an extended period of time. It was exactly what I was looking for. Cozy, relaxing, comfortable, easy to walk everywhere. I'll stay again should the need arise. Julia was a wonderful host.

My wife and I stayed at Cabin #2 for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The cabin was perfect in every way, the location was more beautiful than I expected, and Scott went above and beyond in his accommodations and communications. We would definitely go back, and we are very grateful!

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

Listing was very accurate on the description, no issues. We only really slept there as we were out riding the trails the whole day and it was great for that. Super close to the atv trails! She made sure to get me info on how to get in, in plenty of time. Her and her husband were very nice. The only “complaint” I would say is we got there when it was dark so we couldn’t see which cabin to get to right away cause our gps took us to the one next to it. Definitely would stay again though!!

This cottage is so cute and comfortable. The location on the lake was perfect and it had everything the two of us could have wanted. Dan was quick to reply to every question we had. He and Kristen anticipated any traveler's needs and exceeded them. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

What a fabulous gem of a place to stay! Felt less like an air bnb and more of a family cabin. We felt right at home, and loved the coziness of the cabin (and wood stove) during standard crummy spring weather- which felt cozy, refreshing and special, rather than crummy, in this context. The wood fire stayed cranking, keeping the cabin warm. Although we ventured into town, we couldn't wait to get back to the cabin. It is as listed- cook on the wood stove inside or grill outside, outhouse, water jugs, a few lamps- so plan accordingly, keep it simple, and you'll have a very relaxing, pleasant stay.

We just spend our Christmas in the Cabin, absolutely beautiful! And super comfortable!! We loved everything about it !!
