Biwa Lake , the whole building for rent

We loved our stay in OmiHachiman. It is a very quiet, chill town. Not a lot is open after 5 or so in the town so plan meals wisely. The blue house was clean, spacious and well appointed, with the most comfortable beds we encountered on our whole Japan trip. The bus from the train station goes nearby the accommodation and continues on to La Collina - very convenient..

Gorgeous Japanese traditional house (2-10ppl)

JessRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a lovely traditional home in a small, quiet town, attractive to stroll around and admire. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked for a night or two with friends and/or family. It suited our group of five adults and two 12-year-olds extremely well. The fact that it has so many bedrooms is a significant advantage for groups that don't all want to share the same sleeping space, as is often the case at Japanese Airbnbs. The friendly hosts were waiting for us at check-in and gave us an extremely detailed tour and explanation of the property. There are not many services within walking distance, so we were glad we rented a car. We cooked dinner and breakfast, and found many useful condiments and spices in the kitchen. Really, the only disadvantage of this home is that it is rather expensive, but the experience of staying there is unique, making it worth the cost. Airbnb prices in general seem to be rising, so it is not dissimilar to others like it.

I want to use it again! The private house in the best location facing Hachimanhori has been beautifully renovated, the room and bedding are clean and easy to use, the dining room is relaxing, the windows are open, the water is clean and easy to use, the refrigerator and washing machine are new, clean, large and convenient. The living room is small, but the TV is large, and I used it with my 80-year-old parents and wife, but everyone was happy and had a relaxing time.Communication with the host was always quick, polite, and reassuring. It was a great excursion!
