A stunning new Air bnb ...perfectly positioned on the water with SPECTACULAR views. reindeer grazing and seals visible. Hrafnhildur and her husband have created the most wonderful space. Probably in my top 3 Air bnb properties ever visited. We were treated to a spectacular display of the Northern lights here. I cannot recommend this place more highly. It is private, pristine and PERFECT!

The host, Katrin, is very kind. I was happy to receive a warm message when I made the reservation. The room was very relaxing and warm. I can see beautiful mountains from the window. I would like to stay here again.

Perfectly clean place, lovely and responsive host, overall all according to description- beautiful view from the window. It was just a stop for us on our way to the north, but we could relax and unwind a bit.

Absolutely charming room in a special edge of the earth town. Justyna was a very gracious host who communicated well! Very clean, warm and cozy, nice teas provided. Only note is that you can hear the neighbors in the other Airbnb but with our white noise app we were able to sleep soundly on the comfy bed :)

I really enjoyed my stay and was sad that I was only there one night. I would have liked to stay there longer!

Well located house near the sea; if the weather permits it's the perfect place to admire the Northern Lights and the stars. The apartament, however, it's quite small for more than 3 people (considering the baggages); anyway it has all the comforts you might need for a night, or more, stay.

The apartment is really very nice and cozy. It is well equipped and there was everything you needed. The location is also very good, it is in the middle of the village, but still very quiet and with great views of the mountain. You can really relax and unwind here. We can definitely recommend the apartment.

Erna’s amazing. Really awesome to talk to and friendly, with great ideas and recommendations. She runs the store beneath the rental, so she’s easy to find. The place itself is really adorable. Lots of light and convenient to all the town has to offer.

Antön’s place is beautiful! Directly out of an IKEA catalog, which is a style I love. Spotless, comfortable and quiet. Easy in and out. Wish I had more time to explore the area….maybe there’ll be a next time. If so, I’ll definitely return to this Airbnb!

Spacious apartment with comfy beds and nice bathroom. Everything was clean and uncluttered.

This was my second accomodation while staying in Iceland and appreciated the level of hospitality that they offered. The space had a great lived-in and comfortable feel and was beautiful with the amount of light that the windows let in. They offered great local insight to the area and it was clear they accommodate a wide range of types of travellers. Though I didn't make use of all the information and amenities, I appreciate the thought behind it. There were many personal touches that make it that much more memorable. I especially appreciate them messaging to make sure check in went alright.

Great place to stay for the night. Close to several restaurants and everything is walkable.

Pretty nice stay for 5 people. We had a great time with the TV and the nice sofa bed.

The room is cozy, and the hot water is not enough for four people to take a bath.

It was a really nice apartment, with an amazing view.

We stayed in a cottage. Elsa is very friendly and personable. We were interested in a sheepskin rug so she showed us her workshop and described the process. It was very interesting

Elsa and magnus, both came out to greet me.And elsa took over from there inviting me to use the kitchen and where everything was in the house.If I needed it. She also brought down homemade bread in the morning for breakfast, which was lovely. I love dogs and their two dogs were a delight.
