Originally this part of the farmhouse was the living area of the family, which can be seen from the authentic Portuguese tile floors, renovated wooden shutters and the ceiling ornament in the hallway. Now it is a very attractive, comfortable holiday home, adjacent to a Mediterranean garden and 4km to fishing village Fuseta, the beach and the lagoons of the Ria Formosa

Monte do Cansado is a small country house with a magnificent view over the hills of Tavira. With 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a huge open-space kitchen and a large sunny terrace it is ideal for beach or hiking holidays in the eastern Algarve. It's central heating in every room makes Monte do Cansado a cozy retreat after long hikes or bike tours on cooler winter days. The big swimming pool with a magnificent view of the valley is shared with the guests of Casa do Pátio and the owners.

You can walk down to the town or park in one of the two car parks that are located in the town. The town center becomes pedestrianized in summer. From the house you can make routes by bicycle or on foot because El Rompido is in a natural setting.
