Emil's Winkel am Wald invites you to enjoy the tranquility with us at Wald am Bückeberg. Make yourself comfortable in a 1-room apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom with shower and washer-dryer, which we have furnished with love and care. In addition, we have purchased furniture made of recycled wood and the upholstery is made of recycled plastic :-) You are welcome in our garden and can pick some fresh herbs for dinner. Or look at the surroundings, such as the castles of the region.

The 1-room apartment is located on the 2nd floor with separate entrance. Underfloor heating, electric shutters, triple glazed windows, HD TV, a fully equipped kitchen and much more offer a pleasant stay. The maximum number of people is 4, but then it is already a bit tight and only suitable for a short stay. The apartment is optimal, for example, for 2 adults with a child. A baby crib, a children's travel crib, as well as a high chair can be provided for a small fee (€5 per stay).

You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

Hanover (trade fair) (17 km) and the cathedral city of Hildesheim (15 km) are within easy reach. Shopping& a bakery are within walking distance.

There are many other animals to admire on our estate - chickens (including roosters!!!!, which means the alarm clock in the morning sometimes "rings" a little earlier), geese, free-range ducks, horses, quails... There is also a small farm shop and there is always a place to grill or a campfire.

Hikes through the Ith, the other heights of the Weser Uplands, city tours to Hameln, Bodenwerder or Bad Münder, as well as relaxation in the Ith-Sole Therme are very close.
