The hillside situation guarantees a wonderful view on the surrounding nature and Burghausen with its famous castle. Burghausen`s Old Town is reachable in few minutes by feet, car or bike, also the Wöhr-Lake with its bathing beach. (about 2km) Salzburg is reachable by car in under an hour.

The wash house

The washhouse is located on the Schacherbauer farm overlooking the orchard. It is minimalist, but high quality and lovingly furnished, with shower, toilet, large comfortable sofa bed, ample storage space and a large terrace. The new wood-burning sauna can be used at an additional cost. (up to 6-8 people) On the farm there are numerous animals, a café and a shop. Both are open on Friday afternoon. The Rottaler Bäderdreieck is in the immediate vicinity, Burghausen, Passau, Salzburg and Munich can be reached in less than an hour.
