Family-friendly holiday rentals in Enkhuizen

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at The Floating Heaven in Epe. The cottage is comfortable and fully equipped, in the middle of a farm with farm animals A beautiful, quiet place where you can completely unwind. The welcoming host ensures a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

We were two for 2 nights there. The reception was very warm and friendly. The bikes available were a great way to go for a cozy evening lap or to be able to shop in less than 20 minutes. With our car, we drove to Zandvoort to the sea in just under 1 hour. It was incredibly relaxing and the area is very nice.

Fabulous stay at Cottage Paulus What a great experience! The forest cottage "Paulus" is tastefully decorated and is located in a beautiful, quiet place in the middle of nature. Exactly what we needed to completely recharge. We were there with our two dogs, and they too had the time of their lives. The spacious, fully fenced garden was perfect – safe and large enough for endless snooping and scrambling around. Fareen, the hostess, is incredibly friendly and helpful. From the first contact, everything felt familiar and relaxed. She was quick to respond to questions and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves peace, nature and an animal-friendly place with character. We will definitely come back!

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

We had a great time during our girlfriend weekend. A lovely cottage with nice amenities. Everything was thought of. We also enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Perfect for a weekend with friends or family. Hari is incredibly friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

I spent some lovely days at Siennie's place with my dog. The check-in and check-out were uncomplicated, there is a parking space directly at the house. The place was clean and there was everything you need. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The highlight was of course the beach within walking distance. Unfortunately, you only learn on site that dogs are not allowed to go to bed on the sofa or with them. It would have been nice to get this information before booking. Other than that, everything else was perfect, and I felt very comfortable at the place.

We were very excited about the yard, the garden and the apartment. There are so many beautiful details that you would need many days to discover everyone. Everything was so creative and cozy, you can tell that a lot of work, passion and love is in things. We also liked the animals very much.... We had a very warm welcome and lots of great tips for excursions - just because we were also traveling with dogs, it was wonderful that they could also have their fun and we could take them everywhere...we had a nice time and filled them well! Thanks to Patries and Mike and their animals!!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Very nice, communicative hostess. The surroundings were very nice to walk the dog. The cottage has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We had nice conversations with Trienie and she gave us good tips for doing things. We will be happy to return.

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Had a great stay. The house is beautiful with history which we found great. Esther was also very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

A very cozy cottage with everything you need and much more. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the beach is within walking distance. There are many nice beach bars!

we stayed 4 nights..the bungalow was very spacious and quiet. during our stay, evening always bit cold so unfortunately we didn't use the outside space. but extremely good place to stay away from busy stressful city life and take relaxation in this nature surrounding bungalow. specially host Ria, extremely friendly and very responsive any time. recommended for everyone 🇳🇱🫶

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Our stay at Marcels cottage was brilliant! He welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to his family, showed us around the cottage, explained how to unlock the electric gates and swimming pool cover. The cottage is within the grounds of Marcels house but provided enough privacy for both of us. Marcel is a very easy going person, friendly and accommodating. He was always there when we needed him but never impinged upon our privacy. We were on a cycling holiday on our own road bikes and not once did we fear our bikes would be stolen from the garden. Vicky my wife is a keen swimmer and there was never a time when it was a problem for her to use the pool. We loved the accommodation and the atmosphere Marcel provided. Of all the Airbnb we have stayed at this is by far the best. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back 😀

Rose's cottage is very cozy and the garden offers a lot of privacy. We felt right at home. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with our daughter of 8 in the cozy park on which the cottage is located. Around the corner the heath and a beautiful sand drift nearby the cozy Nunspeet with the best Italian ice cream at "Di Verso" . We would love to come back to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings even further. Thank you Rose!!

Great weekend at Magdalena's. Good communication before we arrive, perfect arrival and welcome. We met Magdalena later in the evening, a lovely person who does everything to make his visitors have a good time. The accommodation is very comfortable, quiet in an exceptional environment between land and sea. A huge thank you to Magdalena and her husband for their extraordinary hospitality.
