This home has plenty of character with wooden beams throughout and a large fireplace, perfect for those colder winter nights. There is also a large garden space with a BBQ and firepit which is great for summer evenings. This charming and spacious residence is located on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Saffron Walden, 5 minutes from Audley End station and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport or Cambridge and Racing at Newmarket. This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to very steep duckstairs or for senior guests.

Cosy barn in beautiful rural setting

Bradleys Barn is a converted stable situated on the farm which has been in our family for 120 years. It’s last inhabitants were Dapper, a Clydesdale and Prince, a Suffolk Punch, in the 1940s. We hope you enjoy your stay here and please explore our woodland walks looking out for buzzards, deer, brown hares and kites. We are located on the Essex Way as you will see on the map in the hallway. This is very good for walking and mountain biking.

A great family Essex Barn dating back to the 17th century, with lots of space for a great holiday or get together. We are in the middle of the countryside for great walks, there is a hot-tub so bring your wellies and swim gear! So much space, privacy, equipment and character... a great place to relax and get together, but no loud parties please as we are on a smallholding not too far from neighbours ! Railway station 15 minutes

The stables are a light airy open plan barn conversion finished in 2018. A sumptuous king size bed. Your own private entrance with your own kitchen with a starter pack all ready for your stay including continental breakfast for one morning There is Wi-fi within the barn. We are 20 minutes to Mersea island, 5 minutes to Colchester zoo and 10 minutes from the magnificent Layer Marney Tower.
