In the valley where Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan, this is a house steeped in history. The property sleeps 4, though it's just as suitable for couples, as the second bedroom is 'compact'. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

A delightful recently renovated detached barn conversion in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the pretty Devon village of Hemyock, set in the Blackdown Hills AONB with no street lighting and stunning views across the Culm Valley. Perfect for a rural getaway and exploring the South West with many countryside walks on your doorstep and pubs nearby. We are located between north and south coasts so stunning beaches on hand as well as two national parks, Exmoor and Dartmoor.

Lovely Oare hideaway

A lovely cosy hideaway, with direct access to Exmoor, the Doone Valley and beyond! The cottage has many original features, including a wood-burner and rustic beams - and maintains its character (refurbished in 2020). Parsonage Farm Cottage is completely separate from the main house, with its own garden, incredible views and peace and quiet, with Oare Water running along the bottom of the property. Just a short drive to the lovely villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, & Porlock.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nestled on the edge of our family small holding on Exmoor with a herd of Red Devon cows, horses, chickens, sheep and dogs. Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy this area of outstanding beauty this is the place to be.

The Old Workshop. A Cosy Exmoor Bolthole.

The old workshop is less than a 10 minute walk from the Local Pub, The Staghunters Inn. There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet. The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! We had a lot of fun converting The Old Workshop into a warm, cosy space, using reclaimed wood and upcycling items such as old beer barrels and old pine furniture.
