Monthly Rentals in Farmakonisi

This is such a little gem of a place that I almost hesitate to write this review. Gumusluk is one of the few places on the Bodrum peninsula that still feels genuine and peaceful - almost exclusively a Turkish resort. And this place is quintessential Aegean - small but very functional inside, lovely bathrooms, amazing terrace with the sea literally lapping just below and history all around you. It is surrounded by fish restaurants which we thought might be super noisy but generally you feel quite private and it was never overwhelmingly loud. Head over to Rabbit Island to see the ruins. Be sure to go up to the weekly Gumusluk market on a Tuesday - amazing produce and wonderful local vibe. Loved our little sojourn here and Guray was a very communicative host.

Beautiful villa with wonderful view of the Aegean Sea. Meals outside were a delight. We had a Turkish Breakfast prepared by the staff on sight and could not have been more impressed. We looked forward to the evening sunsets and made it a point to be at the villa each evening for that reason. The host has provided many activities and amenities that we were still discovering on our last day at the property. The property was fun for the entire family, ages ranging from 10 to 60. This property did not disappoint. If you plan on venturing offsite other than the short walk to the beach, transportation is a must at this location. A big thank you to our host and the caretakers.

My wife and i needed a break to get away from the stressful year we needed to unwind and relax. Selva's place was the first place i had been able to unwind and relax from the moment we walked in the door very peaceful just what we needed. what a great host nothing was to much trouble and she responded instantly. we would recommend any couples looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway with stunning views to book this apartment and have a great time. we will be booking here again as was a great experience. definitely need to hire a car. many thanks Selva we had a great stay and will be back next year 5 star many thanks Natasha & Andre
