“I was just so pleased with Irene's camper in Flamingo Heights! What a perfect place for a getaway. The location is spot on -- very close to La Copine (you know, for when there are restaurants again) and a sizeable convenience store, and yet far enough off the main road to feel secluded. There's a house behind the camper, but the way Irene has fenced it off and orientated her property, you have the feeling of great seclusion and privacy. The property faces down the hill towards the sunset, joshua trees on either side, mountains ringing the valley in every direction, the vast sky above. Exactly what you want in the high desert. The camper itself is connected to utilities and has a real kitchen and bathroom, so it feels more like an efficient studio than glamping. The single beds are indeed as comfortable as the other reviews promised. The AC was cranking when we got there and worked great, which is very appreciated in the mid-day sun. The design is perfect -- stylish, cute, desert-y. And the outdoor space is delightful -- you've got your hammock, you've got your propane grill all setup and ready to go, you've got your chairs to sit on and take in the view. We brought a little speaker and just hung out in that little front yard all day and night. It was perfect. We'd love to come back. Thank you Irene!”
Rock and Roll Ranch is a unique gem in the making. Our on site owner/managers, Willard and Irene Snow will make you feel right at home. Bungalow #1 is the perfect setting for your caravan style camp in the desert. Our 2009 Prowler travel trailer is immaculate. It features one bedroom with a queen size bed, a kitchen, a bathroom, convertible couch, a banquette dining table with benches that converts into a bed, two entry doors, and a large deck for viewing our beautiful flamingo colored skies.
“Loved staying at this cute place! The RV fit my boyfriend and I very comfortably, and we had 2 friends stay with us the second night, we all fit fine! The RV is spacious, has everything you need, and feels like a cozy camping experience. Jeannie is on the property to answer any questions. It’s fun to walk around their 3 acres, lots of cool knickknacks to see, horseshoes to throw, and bunnies running around. It’s 30 minutes away from the park, super easy to get to. 20 minutes from Joshua Tree town, fun to get brunch and visit the stores. I would definitely stay with Jeannie again!”
Feel the vintage vibes of our cozy casita in the High Desert. Play albums on the stereo and play along with a selection of musical instruments. Target practice with the BB guns, or read a book from our selection. There's plenty of room in the kitchen to cook—or have a backyard barbecue and dine under a starry night sky.
“Sharaya's place was perfect for a night in the Joshua Tree area with three friends. The location was great--it has a very remote feeling but is located nearby the popular restaurant La Copine and a gas station if you need to buy basic things. About a 20 minute drive to the park and 15 minutes to cute shops and restaurants in Yucca Valley. Watching the stars from the hot tub at night was magical. Would highly recommend. Perfect for a group of 4 or less.”
