we like to wellcome you in our wooden en ecological house Brokantie in Roosdaal, Belgium, about 20km from Brussels. You can enjoy the peace, nature and recreation and relaxation in our house with Finnisch sauna. You also have the possibility of buying one or more of our restored furniture and accessories and also local and artisanal products from the region... We heten u van harte welkom in ons houten gastenverblijf in Roosdaal in het mooie glooiende Pajottenland, op amper 20km van Brussel. U kan er genieten van de rust, natuur en ontspanning in ons vakantiehuisje met Finse sauna. Uniek bij ons is dat u onze zelfgerestaureerde brocante meubels en woonaccessoires kunt aankopen... Onze formule: vakantiehuis waar u autonoom kan verblijven, er is een keuken waar u zelf uw maaltijden kan bereiden. Toch kunnen we u een heerlijk (streek)ontbijt aanbieden voor 8 (10) € pp, kinderen tot 10 jaar voor 4 (5) € pp. voor maaltijden, snacks of afhaalgerechten kunt u in verschillende zaken in Roosdaal terecht. In het dorp vindt u al het nodige voor uw dagelijkse boodschappen en bankverrichtingen. Er is ook een bibliotheek, fit-o-meter, sportcentrum... Er zijn vele uitstapmogelijkheden in het Pajottenland, zo zijn er 15 kastelen te bezoeken, 6 brouwerijen, een Rozentuin enz. Voor wandelingen, fietsen, mountainbike, huifkartochten, menroutes, boottochten op de Dender bent u hier aan het juiste adres! U kan ons met het openbaar vervoer bereiken met de trein: station Okegem, Ninove, Liedekerke of Denderleeuw. Er is ook een bushalte: lijnbus 127en 128.

Located on the waterfront with various terraces, 1 for fishermen, 1 with romantic pergola + a spacious, covered terrace and a jetty for our 3-person carp boat. On the covered terrace, there is an infrared cabin. The chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with integrated baking and microwave oven. Air conditioning in the bedroom. Chalet Venepoel is een ideaal verblijf om met het gezin, familie of vrienden tot rust te komen in de stille Kempen. Deze bestaat uit een gezellige leefruimte met open keuken, 3 slaapkamers en een badkamer met douche. De grootste troeven bevinden zich buiten waar een ruim - deels overdekt - terras uitgeeft op eigen strand en vijver in een bosrijke omgeving. Ook is er veel ruimte om auto's op het terrein te parkeren. Lakens en handdoeken zijn niet standaard voorzien, maar kan men wel huren.

You can park the car inside the fence. The chalet has utilities, water, electricity and central heating and has a unique view of the pond. You can spot rare birds such as the kingfisher. There is Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The coffee maker is a Senseo. In the neighborhood, there are eateries and supermarkets.

Our sunny detached chalet is located on a 450 m² plot, in the middle of the forest on a recreational estate in (Gellik) Belgium. Less than nine kilometers from Maastricht, where we, the hosts, live. The domain borders the Hoge Kempen National Park, where nature lovers can enjoy themselves. The activities are countless: from cycling, hiking, horseback riding, etc. Or a city trip to Maastricht. At the chalet, there is a lockable shed where you can put up to 2 bicycles.

The Secret Garden

Our accommodation includes a chalet for 5 people (1 king size bed & 3 single beds), a family teepee for 5 people, a pool house, a spacious garden, a heated private pool and a relaxing Jacuzzi. Our chalet is located near Waterloo Station, the Lion of Waterloo, shopping streets, bars and restaurants. In winter, the pool house is closed with screens and heated, as is the family teepee. It is the ideal place for couples, families and for any event in summer and winter!

Camping Pod "Haaghoek"

Drie ecologische camping 'Pods' in de Vlaamse Ardennen, elk met een aparte privé-badkamer , uitgerust met dubbel bed (+ extra bed), elektriciteit, verwarming, picknick-ruimte en gemeenschappelijk keukentje. Opties: Je kan bij ons een ontbijtmand bestellen aan €15,- pp. De bedden zijn gedekt en de badkamer is voorzien van toiletpapier, shampoo, douche- en handzeep. Between the woods and heath, you can sleep in this restored Gipsy cart. If you like comfort, nature and privacy, you're here at the right place. The pearl of this region is still the viper, one of the rarest reptiles in Flanders. Besides hiking and biking, the area is also suitable for day trips like visiting the 'Lilse Bergen' in summer (4.1km), the abbey of Westmalle (13km), Lilse Golf & Country (2.2km). Antwerp is also with 40km not very far.
