Villa holiday rentals in Florence

The villa has an Old World vibe, but with modern amenities. It was a great place to stay and cook and dine. This was a nice location to base our Tuscany exploration from. The hosts helped facilitate a wonderful home cooked meal by Vilma upon our arrival. The hosts were also very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. You will love this villa!

The Villa was a perfect 10. We were there for 6 weeks. We communicated with Alessandro before we arrived. He answered our many questions quickly. When we arrived at the villa, his brother, Enrico, was in charge of the villa. He met every one of our needs immediately! If we needed clean towels, a lighter for the grill, TV instructions (We always need them when we are in another country.), and many other little things, he would take care of our needs. A third brother, Marco, has a 9 passenger van. We hired him for 3 of the 6 weeks to take us all over Tuscany. Family and friends came at different times, and Marco was amazing. He was always on time and took us anywhere we wanted to go. The villa is very large so even with 8 people visiting, we weren’t in each other’s way. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dining room was large and beautiful! The pool was just what we needed after a hot day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this villa ! It was our home away from home!

The villa is beautiful and authentic, the kind of places that makes you feel right at home, the moment you get inside. The rooms are very homely and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and we could benefit from the proximity of the Supermarket and enjoy eating in the premises. The lovely swimming pool was always clean and inviting, surrounded by greenery and very peaceful. The huge garden gives the real Tuscan atmosphere, and a biological pest control system against mosquitoes lets you enjoy the nature surrounding you all day long! There is a great restaurant within 5 min walk, a great Gelateria within 20 min walk (or a short drive), and a great Pizza/Bakery within 5 min drive. And Florence! Paola is an incredible person, and there is not enough room for my list of compliments! Her generosity is above and beyond, and her hospitality is something you don’t see everyday. She was always available, always responsive, always honest, and her recommendations were all great!

We felt right at home at this place. Beautifully designed and furnished with a nice backyard. A Tuscan villa located in a quiet neighborhood right at the gate of the historic town. Responsive and nice hosts. They even offered to make restaurant reservations for us. Would love to go back one day.

Leonardo was a great host, very friendly, responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a beautiful villa and garden kept very clean. You need to drive 15-20 minutes to anything local so you need a car but the scenery is wonderful and we would highly recommend.

Genteel Home Italy was awesome, it was a great experience, so happy that me and my family chose this home. The location was very peaceful and quiet. Tommaso was a wonderful host who met us at the gate and opened the house for us. He gave us great local restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us. The house is very comfortable and the views are magnificent. There is a keepsake photo in every direction. The drive to Florence is an easy 30-45 minutes, as is the drive to Siena. The local village of San Donato in Poggio has a Michelin-rated restaurant, and others nearby are equally good. There is good hiking through local vineyards and olive groves. The driveway is long and bumpy, but not treacherous. I would suggest that the kitchen could use a toaster and a microwave, but that's my only very minor complaint. Our stay (four of us for four nights) was wonderful and I highly recommend it.

This house fully lives up to the photos and it is an amazing place with a wonderful pool in a perfect location not too far from Florence. We stayed with 6 people and enjoyed every bit of it. We felt very welcome and everything went very smooth our whole stay! Would love to go back :)

We had a wonderful stay at Olga’s spacious, spotless home, which truly felt like a slice of Tuscan paradise. It's one of those rare occasions where the photos don’t do the place justice—the house is even more beautiful in person. Although we couldn’t enjoy the pool due to the cooler weather, we still felt fully immersed in the beautiful landscape, thanks to the large garden and access to lush green areas all around us. We felt right at home, Olga was a fantastic and lovely host—she took care of everything we needed and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Always available and eager to help, Olga offered great recommendations, from the best local sites to visit to hidden gems in nearby towns. She even went the extra mile to help with restaurant reservations. We can’t recommend Olga’s place enough! This was a true Tuscan experience.

Erika was available from the first contacts until checkout. The house is perfect for large groups and is a pleasure to be able to use the pool . Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and this ensures privacy for every guest. Professional kitchen with everything you need .

From start to finish, we felt very comfortable, through the hosts and the great property. Simple, clear and honest. Thank you for everything, we have highly recommended your piece of jewelry to our circle of friends. Keep it up.

Beautiful property, immersed in the Tuscan country side. Plenty of walks around the area and easy access to Panzano and Greve that both have great amenities. Elisabetta was a fantastic host. Property was clean and easy to use, and communication was first class. We had a fantastic time staying here. Thanks!

Gorgeous rustic villa in the Tuscan Hills. Very useful that accommodation is across two houses and that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Pool was lovely. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing I would add is a sofa to slouch on for rainy nights or after walking the beautiful cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa. Great laundry for long stay guests. Brenda was very responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful rural tuscany setting with superb kitchen facilities for catering for a group.Good four bedrooms with plenty of room for us all.We enjoyed returning to pool after exploring villages.

Actually the place does NOT look like the pictures. It is much, much prettier and more impressive than the photos! The home had everything that we needed and was a very comfortable place to stay. It is private and quiet. Even though the weather in December is cool, there were great places to walk around the villa. It was very fortunate we were able to attend Mass at the church in the village on Christmas Eve since it is rarely celebrated there now. The drive up to the villa is challenging, so be aware. It was not a problem, but if you are older or uncomfortable on narrow winding road, it is something to consider. Also, with the cool weather, please note that heating gas is an extra charge. That is only fair as people have different standards for inside temperature and I understand propane is expensive in rural Italy. Cris was amazing -- always friendly and responsive. I wish I was likely to return, but there is a whole world to see. Highly recommended to my family and friends.

Our 12-night stay was consistently positive, everything matched the description and pictures. We were able to enjoy a lot of time by the pool, especially in the heat we were very grateful for it. You should definitely be prepared for mosquitoes, which are sometimes very annoying, but the entire cottage is equipped with screens, so at least you have no problems inside. We were also grateful for the fans. Marta, Paolo and their families are very friendly and extremely accommodating hosts, we had a very nice time, thank you! Especially Pistoia is very worth seeing in the area, in Lucca there was very little going on in our time. The proximity to Florence is also very good.
