30 minutes by bus from INSEAD, Samois sur Seine is a village of character, full of charm, with all its local shops, on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest. Walking and cycling paths are accessible within a few minutes walk from the accommodation in the direction of Bois le Roi, Fontainebleau, Barbizon and the surrounding area. Located along the Seine, you can go for a walk or enjoy aquatic activities. On request, we can rent you a canoé, bicycles, crah pads and cars (ask for pictures)

The Little Chimera on the Seine

Characterful house on the banks of the Seine, completely renovated by an architect, at the back of the garden of a horrifying heritage. You will be seduced by its unique location in a path directly overlooking the Seine. From its dock, it is possible to go for a kayak ride. Activities: bikes, paddleboarding, rowing, hiking, climbing in the forest of Fontainebleau. The village is very lively and pleasant: grocery store, bakery, restaurants on foot. Paris 32 min by train

A hiking trail is accessible next to the entrance to the property. Pets are also welcome. Our baker who is 200 m away "will delight your taste buds".

A peaceful haven in a beautiful authentic village on the Seine, bordering the Fontainebleau forest, "l'atelier" is a lovely space of 35m2 (for 2 persons) that we have just fitted out. Very private, open on a beautiful green setting of 2000m2. Ideally located for hiking, biking, rock climbing, golf, horseback riding. Easily accessible from Paris by car(1h) or by train (45min), the place is ideal to try flex-time work, far from city stress.

Les Longuives

You enter the garden from the street through a small discreet door. You cross a small paved and flowered courtyard before discovering where the house is hidden. In a very quiet area, it is located at the back of a large walled garden, one kilometre from the station and shops, and 400 meters from the forest. Perfect for a stay with family or friends, the house is also ideal for remote working as it has a fiber optic internet connection.
