The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

This beautiful house extends for over 250 sq.m, including a 70-sq.m terrace, and invites you to relax in comfortable surrounds in the stunning Viksdalen Valley. There are wonderful fishing spots in the Gaular River.Fossestien's waymarked paths provide many different mountain trails. In the evening, you can lounge on the terrace with its 7-seat Jacuzzi, gas barbecue, and garden furniture. Our beautiful 3 room ground floor apartment is available for rent. Perfect suitable for a couple, a small family or 2-4 friends. Two separate bedrooms. Linen and towels are included. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking and eating. There are cable TV and a nice seating in the living room. Fast wireless internet. Big bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer. The chalet is in a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
